Dear saramonic, i've recently purchase the saramonic vmic mini and i notice the microphone always pick up the static sound from nearby smartphone or wifi router. If i turned off the wifi router or the mobile data/the wifi from the smartphone, the static sound soon went away. It is quite cumbersome since i always have to remember turning off any wifi or mobile device before doing recording in order to achive clear sound. Even when recording in outdoor it still pick up static sound from any mobile device nearby. Any solution? Ps. I am using the original trs/trrs cable provided in the package. Thanks.
It is always best to film in Airplane Mode in order to not pick-up wireless interference from the phone into the mic. Every phone is different though, and how the phone's antennas are shielded on one phone may be more problematic than others. My Asus phone had issues with WiFi, yet my Pixel phones do not. Best rule is to always film in airplane mode for best results. Because there is no way to stop interference once a phone call comes in and that will ruin the take on any phone. Hope that helps.
Very nice since I need a new mic for my camera.
We hope you love it.
@@SaramonicUSA I can't believe I got a response from a company. Thank you very much.
❤️ We try! ;-D ❤️
