Yes it's a very capable ZJ! It still has stock axles, but it's running 7" of lift and 35's. This thing is seriously flex. Soon he will be going to one tons and at least 37's.

My TJ transmission has been doing that lately on step inclines.
I think he was having a slow leak. After adding some fluid, it did fine the rest of the day.
