I have this, bought it brand new in 1991 or 1992 I believe, my son was a baby when we got it. He’s 34 now. I gave it to him when he left home in 2009, yesterday he gave it back to me! It now has a different turntable and the graphic equaliser is missing, but I’m so impressed to have it back! I’m going to get it back to original spec when I see the bits I need. Don’t know if you’re aware, but it was the most recommended music system at the time, by Which magazine!
That sounds really clean. even just listening on my laptop with altec lansing speakers. I've had Kenwood home and car audio off and on at different times in my life. Always been a fan. Nice set up.
We have one exactly like this! We got a-lot of compliments. The graphic equalizer was awesome. The surround mode was very nice. The tape dubbing was high tech at that time but who listens to tape nowadays.

I remember lusting after these kinds of units in the local electronics stores back in the day, I am jealous of your setup. Pick yourself us a pack of assorted rubber belts. cd drawers, tape units, all those belts are 20-30 years old and will start to go slack soon. Love the equalizer though :)
