The Warriors of the Wasteland, also known as The New Barbarians is a 1983 Italian post-apocalyptic action film directed by Enzo G. Casteralli is one of the original pioneers of post-apocalyptic styled movies!
On our Weekly Popcorn Chicken show we love to look back at bad 80s films but it's always good to look back on how films were produced without the technology of today!
This film was also set in 2019. It's very interesting to see what people thought 2019 could look like back in the 80s (much like Back to the future)

It's not the OG wasteland post apoc movie. First is "Boy and his dog" and first wide release hit is "mad max 2: road warrior"
The movie is more of a B movie copy.
