I'm still lost with the song, my first impression was not this good :v But yeah, I can see she is going to give her all on the stage.
Give it time, see how you feel after a few listens!
She has a big budget indeed. It was said that she will spend almost 1 million dollars on her ESC journey.
It is also said that she and her team will arrive to Liverpool 2 weeks before the contest to practice the performance.

Unicorn feels like 10 songs in 1 and, after a month or so of sitting with it, I'm still a bit unsure as to whether I think it all fits together - however, it'll absolutely be a moment live

In israel we have a lots kind of music, like the people, and all the diffrent coulters .. the best we known for is electronic music like David guetta and you can hear the track build up till the end.. and i belive there's a secret meaning behind the song.. think like its the country- Israel that singing to the world 🇮🇱🇮🇱❤🦄🦄🦄
@@shimnona "Unicorn" has VERY meaningful lyrics! (This is my take as an Israeli)
Here are the main points to understand:
The song is about the relations of Israel (The "I" in the song) and those who perceive her wrongfully as their enemy (The "You").
To all her neighboring countries, Israel stated time and time again "we are not your enemy!" (In the song "No, I'm not your enemy")
Also, the fact that the Jewish ppl are originated from ancient Israel ("Do you want to check my DNA?"), and not a colonial foreign power, as falsely accused by it's enemies.
As you may know, There is a vicious cycle of violence going on in our region for more than a century that we must break and change ("History caught in a loop, Don't you wanna change it?"), cause Israel is attacked time and time again ("If you're gonna do it, don't do it", ) and is forced to respond.
The music also contains elements of the Israeli national anthem - called "Hatikva" - The hope. One of the symbols of Unicorns is Hope and Success, and also strong healing powers.
Notice also the colors in the Music Video, they are very meaningful as well! The ceiling is all-red, she wears all-black (Symbols of violence and grief) and switches to colorful outfits when she sings the Unicorn parts from black & white - Those parts represent the hopeful and successful future ("That I won't look back, I won't look down, I'm going up").
The fact that it's all upside-down! (Not a normal reality) They are all very symbolic!

I loved it on first listen but I understand why some people had to grow into it. I think it was made with live staging in mind, and clearly very influenced by K-pop. Top 5, obvs 😊

Your reaction and facial expressions throughout this reaction video describes perfectly how I felt when viewing the song put together with the style of video and everything. 😁🤣
This will be an awesome dancefloor bop as well as having potential to get stuck on ones brain and playlist on repeat, and it could very well be a top 5 song in the Eurovision. I can't see a reason why Unicorn would not qualify although I can't help but hope that the live performance is every bit as good as the video version, so looking forward to see that. I feel like she is like a mix between Dua Lipa, and Rosalía, and she brings a heck of a lot of personality and diva into this whirlwind of a song with great build ups between the more muted/toned down parts of the song, and also has an awesome vocalization to go with both the build ups and toned down parts of the song. But I must say that after watching this video I will expect a lot of the live performance, and especially on the vocal part since we already have seen enough to come to the conclusion that she is a great dancer and performer that has a kind of demanding, commanding, sassy attitude about her. I wanna see what she can really bring to that stage when this song is live and the performance is on, and especially when she sings. 🤓

I absolutely love your reactions! I have Israel ranked 1st, Israel always bring uniqueness to Eurovision and im sure her live performance is going to be a Masterpiece as well. Finland and Sweden are ranked 2nd and Italy 3rd. Overall this year most Eurovision songs are SO GOOD !
