Use the right taillight on the left side and just flip it upside down. The way the white reverse light will tucked away into the bends of the pipes. Instead of sticking down.

I like the way those c7 tail lights looked without the reverse lights, if you can make those bad boys work I’d love to see those
just wire in a LED light bar for the reverse lights instead, so you can actually see. taillights look great without the reverse piece

You would think if ur getting sponsored you would take like 10 seconds to google the name of the company and double check how it’s pronounced.
You can absolutely do a directional LED strip, or any number of other programmable patterns, if you’re into the sequential vibe but wanted to go with the simpler and less busy option.
I like the idea of a more slim, low profile light that is unique to this build. Something simple like you suggested would be my choice.
for those corvette taillights, you can switch the sides. The left side goes on the right and vice versa. The angled part would look better in the middle imo

They are sequential directional that light from the middle out. If they swapped side as you suggest the directionals run sequence from the out side to the middle and that would just be dumb looking.
@@ConstitutionalFreedomFighter can probably just re-wire them or change resistance to be flipped directions (if they don't have some kind of controller)

Led light would look sick for tail lights. It’ll definitely take a long time but it’s definitely worth it!
Try using Diode dynamics Red HD LED semi-flex strips with brake , running light and turn signal functionality.. I think it will look cool 😎

They're meant for a C7 corvette, I agree the reverse light looks ugly they should run just the brake lights and have a light pod on top of the transmission like a gt car as a reverse light

maybe with those taillights you could try to flip them upside down and put the left on the right and the right on the left and give that reverse light a different look

You might try flipping those taillights upside down and putting them on the opposite sides so the reverse light bit is pointing upwards. Can't tell from the video but it might fit kinda neatly like that.
Came to say this. Thought with the bend around tires it would look better. N not take away tire space
Put the left taillight on the right and vice versa and turn them upside down so the reverse is following the tube body lines you already have, it would look clean

lol. Cor-bo 'corbeau' simply means Raven in French!! which happens to be the logo of these car seats... but the fun fact is that it was createdin the 60's by Colin Folwell who is an english man from Sussex ! he did so because he certainly thought this would be both chic and glamour...

Those lights you could maybe switch them from right to left so the points stick out in the middle and not the outsides. This build is sick btw cant wait to see it finished

Remember the rear tires are going to be shooting rock. Those lights will need to be protected.
If he doesn't get beadlocks the wheels will be throwing tires at them.
At first his car can run so he'll think about the rock later

Rear light situation reverse them and turn them upside down it’ll give it that nice retro look that you’ve got going so far And won’t give that vet look🔥

The sequential lights would look odd pulsing inwards but could be an option

maybe I haven't been paying attention but when you said "the rules for the mint 400" I got super excited that is amazing
your level of planning on some stuff (mostly cosmetic) is spot on. other stuff like those seats, like can think of a dozens ways i would have done that and tied them into the cage and made them adjustable without raising them... like i do on all my builds.. again your on road stuff is solid but this venture is entertaining to watch and chuckle at

with the led strip idea, you can get an Arduino and program any sequential pattern you want with addressable LEDs.

I agree with what several other people said. Flip the tail lights upside down and swap sides. They’ll follow the tubing nicely and you’ll still have the in to out sequential signal

A part of me loves how detail oriented the videos are and how it tracks every step of the build. But another part of me just wants you to upload the video where you’re doing dyno pulls getting it tuned already
Was surprised you didn't raise the front of the seats by an inch or two. Most want the rake for bending the legs or more leg room. Plus some people like the feeling of leaning back.

I say we go for the tail lights you bought because it makes it more Batmobile-esque and works with the doors. I personally like it with the reverse lights, and when Kyle slid it inward. The angularity works nicely.

Definitely keep both parts of the tail light and move it towards the center a little more, I bet if you made a little frame around it to house it it would look siiiiick
The led strip lights sound like a dope idea and I'm pretty sure there's an easy mod out there to get sequential tail lights, I'd say mount two strips on each side, make the top one your brake light and the bottom your running/turn signal

Can you swap the reverse light brackets? I’m assuming not but I think that sweep would look better on the inner portion of the body
Simple solution for that would be to swap which side they are on, and flip upside down, so they are sequential in the correct way, and the reverse lights wrap around the exoskeleton a bit
Depending on how your body panels work with the tail lights. Otherwise just use LEDs you can also make them sequential.
