They both are Leo. Ben is not full of himself. He just like/love/fancy Jen and he wants to look in her eyes his best. That’s what Leo DO. He is intellectual and ambitious and this is something that Jen admires in him. Also he is good looking. Jen is literally “a girl from the neighbourhood”. Easy to talk to and happy to share her happiness with others. Let’s also not forget that she is naturally very beautiful and Leo males have a thing for good looking women. In addition she is also smart, intelligent and ambitious and to be honest it would be hard for Ben to not fall in love with her. They became friends because they both have seen/fell “a spark”. Something that drawn their both to each other. Trust me Leo’s chose who they want to be friends with. They just found their perfect match, someone who understands them without saying anything.
IDK why I root so much for Bennifer but I do. I want these crazy kids to work out

Loved this. I've been married to my bestfriend for 16 yrs now. I love that we have that to fall back on when things get rocky. We have a child, and 2 businesses together. It's very important to start a relationship as friends so you can really bond and grow and root that connection. much love.

I hope Ben and JLo work out this second time around. They are older, wiser, have established careers. And they came back together almost 20 years later. He may be recovering. But it is something you will always work at. Jlo does not drink or smoke, so she is good for him. You can see the love between them. When Ben saw the opportunity that she may be available, he went for her. And because the love is still there, she went back. True love, people.

I agree meeting people through friends is the best way. It's so hard lately though for most to mingle. I think they will last, I hope so anyways! It'd be sad for both if they didn't work out. I feel bad for Jennifer Lopez's ex now as he seemed nice.

I don't think he's full of himself. He's a New Englander. I definitely thinks he has problems but I think he's an overall "real" type of man. I think outside of Hollywood they would make a great couple. It must suck to get back with the one that got away and realize your children could have been with eachother.

Damn you did really really good in psychology for real.... you seem funny as hell but it'd probably be a lil intimidating too... cuz I feel like I'd have to put an ACT on my personality cuz of how you're analyzing is very on point!! Especially the part that no one has this or that "rule" as a couple, it's them taking different "rules"here & there or thrown at them, he & she or them, they can still keep that love in the relationship and being able to keep it growing & going stronger as time goes on, you learn a person's entire emotions on so many differnt levels (it's crazy when you really think about it lol "like damn I actually know peole that well", i start feeling smart, that was a joke to myself😂😂 ( idc what anbody else says, im funny lmao... j/k, my kind of sarcasm is me laughing at my jokes, even if they're about me🤣🤣)... anyway... experiencing different "rules" in life is kind of learning more & more what both of y'alls needs/wants/dislikes are like but also staying happy with yourself & with your partner, lover, husband/wife etc. And this kind of love can be for best friends too, those ones that you truly care about them & their well-being. The only thing missing is the sexual part, which is technically only need for the one or the other or others🤷🏼♀️ (depending on the relationship... i for reals ain't passing judgment on anybody, everyone has their own kind of life/a way of like that they're truly happy, as long as we all have mutual respect towards another person's opinions/ views/morals or perspectives on things, then i am good we will get along perfectly fine 🤗🤗. Keeping it happy, loving & healthy regardless of who does what in the relationship i guess is a shorter way of saying it... dang & i just typed all this, hell nooo lol, i ain't deleting 🤣🤣🤣lol. It's so true this thing about gender roles. I too believe that whoever is most capable and has the desire to do whatever but even more important, enjoys doing the activity, would be the person for it. Responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, paying the bills, making plans, working, taking care of the kids, making plans, should not be designated by gender, etc... I believe that it is not set in stone either. I think that there will be less friction in the relationship when a couple can switch these activities from time to time and it makes everything more enjoyable by breaking the monotony and putting yourself in other shoes could help to better understand your significant other and makes the couple ore versatile and successful.

I agree. I remember an interview I saw with them in their kitchen when they were engaged and she was so loud and so dominated the whole conversation and I could tell it made him uncomfortable and I just felt they weren’t going to stay together.

My husband and I were friends first. We have 4 kids& almost 11 years of marriage now.
I hated dating guys I wasn't friends with first... so uncomfortable.
Ya know, after watching this I think I’ve figured out what broke them up (as a main issue)! I bet it was his private and non-pap preferences versus her too open style and preference for being in spotlight so much, because especially back then she was really still building her name and “celebrityhood” or whatever you call it. Even that Jenny from the block video had references to paparazzi following and taking pics of them as a couple. I’ve never paid much attention to either of them so I don’t know if he’s always trying to be this private but it seems like he would because he’s not one of the people I’ve ever heard much about in entertainment news outside of his two big relationships with Jennifers lol.

just wanted to add, they started off as friends mainly because jlo was married at the time. They met 2 months after she got married to Cris Judd. She then went on to separate from Cris the following year, and then started dating ben a few weeks later. (i personally think there was an affair, whether it was emotional or physical).
