why does it want to go second? Isn't it better not to let the opponent set up negates and instead burn him before? Worked for me so far..

@@OrangePillow-pe3hl but the card advantage only matters when you draw a hand trap and even then, as soon as more than 1 negate is on the field it won't matter, won't it?

Lava Golem, or Ring of Destruction+Ghost Mourner.
Even if you lose 1 card to a negate you can still win, that's why we go second for the 6th card.
Sometimes we just lose though, it happens
