👍Thank you much! with the chlorine shortage ( due to plant / suppliers burn down in La) and the price has went out the roof a person needs to keep the pools as clean as possible with out using the chemicals. It's gonna get worse before it gets better.

Thank you so much! I have followed you from the beginning. My Polaris is amazing. This being that it is a sweeper with water pressure shooting out does such an amazing job that me and my friends were blown away. I have a lot of pine trees Unfortunately. The Polaris does a great job picking up everything off the bottom. I have the same pump you have as I told you in the past. It works amazing! Thank you sir for helping and guiding us slow folks to the finish line. Please don’t stop your videos!!!

I know nothing about pools but it makes sense about clearing that filter out and the basket out, you don't wash your dishes in dirty water and your vacuum cleaner works best when it's empty, you are keeping a clean house buddy. Real interesting show please take care stay safe and God bless
Thank you Cammy. With the shortage of chlorine (due to one of the major plants burn down in April 2021) people may be swimming in a dirty pool before they know it. What's on the market now has sky rocked in price.
@@papawsplace I did get told some people have salt water pools, ive no idea how it works but if its going work out better for you in the long run it might be something to look into, if I find anything about it I will send you it, take it easy buddy

@@papawsplace is it a cost effective upgrade buddy or is it just gimmick, another thing I saw was with one of the car channels I follow he has a in the ground pool but it still had a removable pool liner, he was getting his pool worked on so he was emptying the pool, well where he was in Canada the temp got up to 130 degrees and the sun reflected from his pool actually melted the pool liner. Well his was the first salt water pool I seen, I never knew that these things existed. I will fey and find the vid for you pal, take care my friend

Good morning Poorboy 🌄I have the 36in /14 ft POOL I cant find any chlorine tablets at any stores! So I use 3 gallons of beach every week and bleach tablets in the floater! It works my pool is very clean..but you're right ya got to stay on it and clean it too keep it clean😊Its kinda like a garden if u want it to be weed free ya got to get out there everyday! The Chlorine shortage (due to plant / supplier burn down in La in April 2021) and the price has went out the roof. It's gonna be this way no telling how long. That plat was one of the main suppliers for the US.

Yes, one of the biggest chlorine plants in the US ( Louisiana) burn in April 2021 so its a shortage in chlorine products. Not Good!

Hi! Why did you decide to change the pump and not use the one that came with the pool?
The one that came with the pool will not pump enough GPM to run the skimmer and the Polaris65 Vacuum.

You should upgrade to a hayward thru-wall skimmer! It has a lot of suction, and always loves to pull in our floating thermomete in the doorway hole!
I was scared about cutting a hole in that liner. LOL
@@papawsplace We have that exact pool you have, and it was just fine all you have to do is screw it in, and then it's basically already done, then you just cut the hole, using the white face plate as template, and away it goes to work.

Who knew by cleaning your pool you can keep your pool clean
LOL, it's a lot of people out there that think the pool chemicals will keep their pool clean just by adding more CLCTV. If they would only keep their pool clean, they could us less chemicals and save lots of money.

people think these pools won't last, mine has been up for three years and is not showing any signs of deterioration, I leave it up over the winter, i don't take it down and fold it up, I think that is what causes weak spots which start to leak, I also decided not to do salt water due to how it will rust the metal legs, I suspect if taken care of I see no reason one shouldn't last 10 years......I'm also gonna get me one a them Polaris65 cleaners through your link...

Hi Poorboy! Great video!! I have a 20 x 48 Intex pool. I have the salt water, sandfilter system. My pool stays clean and clear. However, I just purchased a Polaris turtle pool vacuum (just like yours except with a turtle 🐢 shell on top)... It will not hook up to my return. Where can I find an attachment? Do you think the Polaris will run with the 50D Game Pump?
That's a 1/2 HP at 2400 gph pump so I'm not sure. I would do research before I bought it.
