Hi Jzp, I'm on vacation up in Minnesota for two weeks, but here I am after a full day of the dreaded Mall of America 🎢 🎡 😂 I get a half hour to myself before a late dinner. Thank you and thank your partner ❤❤
I'm with you most days. I can hear you more clearly in this environment for some reason. Just in case you wanted to know. Thanks for all your hard work. I really appreciate all that you do.
Hi Peter, from Minnesota. I spent the last 9 hours at the Mall of America. 🎢 🎡 with two 11 year old boys and my daughter. I'm so tired 😆 I hope you're well
Hi Jonathan, I heard about this and could hardly believe it. From what I understand it are about 300 soldiers and 20 armored vehicles. That would suggest more of a raid than an attack. I think we will hear more about this soon. Russia has to react, which is always positive. It is good to see Ukraine have he initiative and Russia has to respond. Cheers, Rick
Yes, if that information is correct, then this is a raid. What benefits for Ukraine? Probably just a short-lived PR boost. And that's because at the same time the Ukrainian lines are collapsing in Donbas, which is a way more important. This raid won't force Russians to divert any forces from Donbass because they have enough local reserves and advantage in aviation and what not. So this raid won't achieve anything significant. At the moment Ukrainian priority should be stabilising the front in Donbas where their defences are collapsing.
@@MJGMJGMJG try to calm down and go over your thought process one more time. I noticed your account is one year old. Just discovered UA-cam? Hope you like it!
@ATP Geopolitics, Thank you for the updates today, I don't know what I would do without them. Have a great time with the family. Lots of love to you all.
Sullivan: “you can’t strike airfields further than 100 km from the border with Russia.” Ukraine: “What if we move the border to within 100 km of the airfield? Sullivan: 👁️👄👁️
As said by Tatarigami.. Is it really worth it? Folding in New York but pushing in Kursk? Seems a very optimistic distraction. Who knows, maybe they know something else, but it is unlikely that units from Avdiivka direction and Toretsk direction (which are the most critical) would be taken away to defend Kursk. Let's see and wait how it unfolds.
If I remember correctly, there were previous claims of Russian troops and equipment being amassed in Kursk in preparation for as second vector towards Sumy - an attack that as of yet has not materialized. If the Ukrainians (1) sent in dozens of drones overnight and (2) followed up with a mechanized incursion across the border, it could be they are attempting to thwart any future attacks by dispersing and dismantling what remains of those forces. It is most probably a limited and targeted raid with a specific purpose in mind, and not an attempt at creating a buffer zone on the other side of the border.
Yes, I heard about that as well. However, the main Russian troops and reserves will be stationed some kilometres away from the border so there is no chance to disperse or dismantle anything other than a few border posts. And as with the previous raids Russians will bomb and hunt them down. And if the attacking/raiding force is just a couple of hundred soldiers with a handful of vehicles, then it's just a hit and run attack.
I knew you couldn’t stay away! And I’m glad! Stay out of the sun! You wouldn’t want a heat stroke, would you? Might as well create an ATP Geopolitics video. It’s just too hot 🥵 outside. Good choice 😁.
they planned this with your holiday XD maybe they do some PR, with released "opposition leader" and they used western equip, like "we can stop what he is doing" kinda thing, would be nice, maybe try and push support, not sure if it would work, but i will take any and every potential chance
Covert Cabal uploaded a video that cover tanks and armored vehicles. The Russians have a lot equipment , but many of their armored vehicles are transports rather offensive weapons.BTRs MT-LBs
This is just my opinion but it the freedom of Russian army is being supported by the Ukraine army then it is a Ukrainian incursion there for it is allowed to use western military equipment but that is just my opinion
Military and History contend the troops are Freedom Of Russia League. They took prisoners, but they were conscript border guards. They could have used them on the eastern front. Just my 2 cents.
I saw this from Kenneth Gregg page: Our army sometimes makes surprising moves, now I'm talking about the Kursk region. I have been waiting a few days to see the progress of our "invasion" on the tourist area. First to strike is the combination of intelligence, infantry, guerrillas and the air force. With 300 men, 2 planes, 11 tanks and a dozen other vehicles, the unit made it across the border unnoticed. This already shows that the tourists have basically all their troops from the area either in Vovchansk or Donetsk. Right now you have nothing to oppose 300 Ukrainian soldiers, then it must also be taken into account that Kursk is of great strategic importance for the tourist army. Since it was a combination of several arms, this is probably not an ordinary attack, but it has a strategic significance: 1. Getting the tourists to send troops to the area from, for example, Vovchansk and thus relieve the pressure. 2. To occupy tourist land in order to get a better negotiating position in a possible peace negotiation. When we also have occupied tourist area in our hand, it is easier to get a change; if you give us this back, you get this back. Remarkably, ours who entered were not taken from any front, but were in reserve.
Allow the residents to flee to Russia, give the empty homes to refugees from Donbas and Crimea, hold a referendum and declare the region part of Ukraine.
this has happened so fast I wasn't sure what to make of it. I was talking about this move over a year ago already. But that was before I knew about all the restrictions Ukraine had. What has America imposed on Ukraine in regards to invading Russia and marching on to Moscow? They aren't even allowed to fire into Russia and now they are invading instead? Lets go. I've heard at least one Ka-52 helicoper was shot down trying to stop them. I really wasn't sure it was big but you announcing it as a breaking news item must mean it's a big move. Can you confirm the helicopter was shot down and how far into Russia have Ukraine reached?
america donated either 1 or 2 P3-Orions , which is an anti submarine and maritime surveillance plane i dont know if it works in conjunction with the F16's like awacs would
Hello Jonathan, hope you are all enjoying your holiday. In contrast to my usual impatience I decided to think about this new situation before commenting. Russia has shown that it is unable to successfully fight against Ukrainians on a one to one basis. They rely upon dropping their FAB bombs on Ukrainian soil to destroy as much infrastructure as possible before attacking. With the Ukrainian attack in the Sumy region the situation has now been reversed. Will the Russians now order air bomb attacks on their own civilians and infrastructure to try and halt the Ukrainian attack? Yes, I believe Putin is capable of ordering this but it might demonstrate to the people of Sumy what it's like and what the consequences are. Yet again Ukraine has demonstrated the use of the element of surprise and yet again Russia will be forced to react to a given situation. The Russian military isn't adept at quick reaction. They are slow thinking, slow moving plodders who can't improvise and adapt rapidly. Given that Russian soldiers fighting on the Ukrainian side are also part of this force, it also provides an ideal opportunity to inject insurgency behind the Russian lines.
i totally forgot to say that a ka-52 attack helicopter has also been shot down in kursk - THAT WAS ONE OF THE MAIN THINGS IS WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY!
