E.u....trouble funk, of course the late great chuck brown and others who paved the way for the current gogo bands in d.c now..

Way cool. I was 15 n used to go see Trouble, Essence, and E.U.. Trouble used to play at this club, the Paragon 11, and I had a great time. Go go is my favorite music n the world! I was born n raised in D.C. but haven't lived in the area for like 25 years. I just moved back from Cali not long ago. Glad to be back. You played all the goodies! Northwess in dah house !!! I I remember Club U night club ( a Go-Go) night club that used to be @ The Reeves Center building 14 th and U Streets NW, Washington, DC. I remember Zanzibar night club that was at 700 Water St. SW, DC . Night club that play all music from back in the day 2003 maybe. As I recalled.

Good mix. The industry doesn't want to push go-go because its actually feel good music that stimulates the pineal gland through live percussion like we did back in Africa!
