For me, I like the Japanese one because it's more peaceful, no a lot of chit-chats, no drama, no love story (w/c always happens in real life) just pure countryside-quiet-life presentation which I find it close to reality.
this video clip doesn't justify the whole movie...actually it was intended this way...they made it like a food/everyday life countryside documentary...but if you are looking for an action or a love story, this movie is not for you.
because of the popularity of this movie genre, many videos were based on this type of genre...food blogging without narration, just aesthetically presenting the food preparation...you should check it out
