I can’t speak for the preamp quality and coloring of these devices but I always preamp through my BAE DMP into an SSL 2+. The 2+ is cheap, super transparent, and the quality is awesome. I highly recommend it for any musician.
the axe fx product changed my life as far as recording my guitar - i had a scarlett daw and rarely recorded my guitar in to my computer. With the Axe FX it's so easy - I find myself experimenting with double tracking - adding bass - and then I solo over it. I'm maturing and experimenting with the mixing software - using busing and compressors - 3D audio changes - panning and reverb setting for verses and chorus - fun! yeah - guitar box that is DAW is great!
I can use my Antelope Discrete 4 sc as an guitar interface with tons of effects and emulations. So many good audio interfaces for any kind of budget. Life is good, guitar is fun. Thanks Mitch. Kind regards from Belgium.
I received an id4 mk2 a couple days ago to use with neural dsp plugins and the DA converters. it’s amazing and I can get sub 1ms rtl with neural dsp in stand alone mode on a computer I built 10 years ago
It could be interesting to know how important 96k sampling rate is these days. Some local 'old guy' pro engineers insist that everything be recorded in 96k, 24 bit. Some of the interfaces here only go to 48k or limited to 16 bit although both are fine for general recording.
Great video ! Does the SONO is as great as the iD14 Mk2 in the "classic" usb audio interface use ? (record voice and expanders ) . Thank you ! My heart goes for the Motu M2/M4 but no advantage for guitars ?
@@liveconcerts7550 So far I haven't had any problems with mine. They work like a charm. Problem is a lot of interfaces aren't yet compatible with apple's M1 chip..... I want to buy an interface to connect my guitar to Bias FX2 on my IPhone SE. As you know New Iphone do not have any analog interface. What type of interface should I buy?
Hi, Eric. The ACS-1 can work with any interface that has an instrument input (two if you're wanting to run in stereo). The Scarlett 2i2 would be a great budget friendly option. If you're wanting to get something better without breaking the bank, the Revolution2x2 from Black Lion Audio is another great option. Thanks for your interest! Not necessarily but a separate interface will allow you to plug in different sources and it'll be more convenient being able to control your interface without reaching over to your pod
@@christophercortes9152 Okay thanks. I won’t be using any other sources. I just heard that some people use a separate audio interface to get better signal.
Using a field of half-C sprats, and brass-fitted nickel slits, our bracketed caps, and splay-flexed brace columns vent dampers to dampening hatch depths of one half meter from the damper crown to the spurve plinths. How? Well, we bolster twelve husk nuts to each girldle-jerry, while flex tandems press a task apparatus of ten vertically composited patch-hamplers. Then, pin-flam-fastened pan traps at both maiden-apexes of the jim-joist.

This was a bit fast to catch all said. watched a couple of times. Sounds like something my husband use.

Well done Mitch as always
While the MOTU M2 is borderline budget / Midrange...IMO it is by far the best in its price bracket
I want to go for the MOTU M4 but compared to the iD14 MK 2... for the guitar and Di...? iD14 MK2 is better no ?

What about the Native Instrument komplete series ?
Wondering about this one as well. Looking for a fairly inexpensive interface for someone who is a guitarist.

How does the SSL 2 stack up against these?
It replaced my Axe I/O. Very easy to use, drivers seem more stable. Not a night and day difference between them but I like the SSL2 very much
I have the 2i2 and everything I try I still get crackles and pops in nueral dsp
This is a real headache, very problematic
