Why Taiga Strium upgrade include burning sword ? Simply because, it's a reference to his father Taro (which the first Ultra that embodies fire element) and grandfather Ken/Ultra Father (Ken means sword in japanese). For those who don't know, Ultra Father's real name is Ken which has the meaning sword in japanese language. It's also because there's the fact that he used a sword belong to Marie/Ultra Mother to defeat Alien Empera (Mebius final boss) and end the First Galactic War along.
Also each Flame color represent the Tri-Squad Characteristic. Red Flame Represent Taiga's Courage, Yellow Flame Represent Titas's Power, Blue Flame Represent Fuma's Speed.
When the Tri-Squad gets into the Tri-Zone ( wait a minute, that was the name of a Pinball Machine that I played 43 years ago in Detroit, MI....but NOT THAT Zone ZONE... crazy flashback I'm having...ahem, as I was..... ) the power becomes hot, and did it EVER! Our favorite Tween Ultra in his Ultimate Form, Tri-Strium, and its Rainbow counterpart, burning with intensity and determination. All of his attacks and abilities are red hot: Titas's Burning Hammer, Fuma's Flaming Slash and the Quatto Strike, that made instant BBQ out of Tregear didn't it? And the Rainbow Tri-Strium form made it even hotter. In fact, last week's and this week's episodes of New Generation Stars are spotlighting Taiga and his human host, Hiroyuki Kado, the fourth member of the team, what great timing! And this year is his father's 50th anniversary, Taro, and next year 2024, his 5th, great spotlight on Taiga's ultimate Form, can't wait to see how New Generation Stars ends after this week's outing!
