I saw this video when you first posted...and saved to Pinterest. Today, I was looking for a refrigerator cookie and came upon it. I LOVE burned butter in recipes!! Have you ever tried melting the butter, then chilling it in the fridge until is was about the consistency of softened butter? It's a little different texture but trust me...it's a game changer!!
Where did you purchase the containers for salt, soda, flour and sugar? Anxious to try these. One other question….what is the sculpture I can see through your kitchen window? Thanks, Kathleen.
I love browned butter on white rice. A bit of soy sauce added too knocks it out if the park. Question: 90% of sea salts contain micro plastics. Can you recommend a brand that has the amount of those?
Rolled oats means old fashioned, I'm fairly certain. Typically a recipe will say "quick oats" if that's what is called for. Rolled oats are simply whole oats put through a roller and not processed further.
If using rolled oats in a cookie, I like to pulse the oats once or twice in a food processor. It breaks the oats, allows the oats to hydrate more while in the fridge, and helps the dough to not break and crumble when slicing. Pulsing rolled oats once or twice also works well for granola bar recipes.

Once made, if kept in the fridge in the log, how long is it good for...same for if it's in the freezer?
Wow! New sub here! I recently made Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected! 😀
Can anyone tell if he's using regular oats or quick oats? Or does it matter? I definitely want to try these :).

Are you using Irish butter? ( found at Costco)
Found in most stores

I learned to make these in Home-Economics class 7th grade.
Don't add the oats with the mixer. Much better stirred in.
Wait! No "well hello"?
You're using KERRYGOLD to brown!!??? Oh my goodness. That is my toast treat, only. Leave the baking to a store brand or something. ☺️🍪
Why does he say that ..
