It really depends..... I've always enjoyed loose sticks. That's why I played on an Xbox elite 2 for 4 years. But because they break really easy I made a switch to aim controllers. They are way stiffer BUT they never break + have life time warranty so I never need to buy controllers every month

Just recently stepped away from Call of Duty, wasn't happy with how they shut down WZ1 after 3 years of grinding. Apex Legends has completely filled the void. I really can't get on with MW2's pacing and MW3 is literally an overpriced map pack.. Since playing Apex I truly appreciate the skill involved in becoming a decent player, this guide is fantastic. What's your opinion on tall sticks (Elite 2) or Kontrol Freak clip ons and how it affects things in general? I didn't see anything taller than normal height on your custom and am just curious. Have had a relatively large increase in accuracy and control since I went with the tall boy but am always open to hear input.
In a stream awhile back, he said he doesnt use taller sticks any more, as they can be hard to control close range targeting and hitting shots(?).. something along those lines.
Ive had kontrol freeks for 6 years and now even though i can aim without them its easier for me to aim with them in all shooters im just overall more accurate and my aim at range is better

Was curious what your coaching sessions cost? My friend is building me a pc. My budget for pc was 3,500 I normally play on console Xbox serious x with a razor tournament edition controller. Everything is wired in I have 1g up and 1g down use spectrum for internet. Also have fiber optics cable and I am on a monitor I think 32 inch. Basically I should have everything top of the line far as for performance. I have played sense Apex was released to play. Love the game and I am determined to become extremely good. But it seems as if I am not improving like always kinda staying the same on most stats. And my stats is low far as KD and my rank is always just plat or diamond hit masters once only because it was super easy and I play a lot. I am always researching ways to gain knowledge or different ideas on ways of thinking. Was curious if coaching could possibly help me? And how I could get in contact with you for you to possibly give me a idea of what I am doing that is holding me back from progressing.

Hey district I am still kind of new to apex I play for like 1month and Max 3 weeks I used to play cod and had World records so I know how to shoot apex aimassist is acting pretty weird for me... the bubble around the enemy that slows you down is pretty big so it slows me down often way to early in a close range gunfight so I can not properly track them is the only way to fix that hipfireing or is there a way to fix that
I am also having the same problem I changed my alcs and I am beaming but when it comes to a very close gunfight I can't track to one clip them I,m using linear 2 dz and no response curve
@@TheRealDistrict i am on pc and i have a lliniar rc i also turned the melee aim assist off cuz i thought that is what is messing with the aimassist but i changed and tested so much. the only time it does not do it is when the ads multiplayer is insanely high
I'll try this out. Just got onto my pc with the cross progression and using my controller feels awful compared to on my series X. Same controller and havnt had issues with it feeling horrible on other fps games on pc. It's really odd.

District I know im 9 months late but I have a question How do I make micro adjustments to my joystick when I’m aiming from a distance? I can’t seem to hit anything from afar.
Stick drift is better than none for me because none is like 5 to 8%. Your yaws are 50 more than all mine and pitch is like 5x mine. I'm on xbox1 S. I could raise them, but my frames drop too far unless I'm on excellent internet. 240 yaw and 200 to 220 feel like about all you need at 80 to 100 mbps at best download speeds on xbox1 s

I’ve tried “hold to reload” and found it difficult to reload while near my downed teammates (cuz you start reviving them, when you hold interact) Is there any tip, or just suck it up, auto-reload, etc.?
How can i super glide with the scuf? They are too slow at the interaction Pressing RB and R its better imo using the scuff as jump and glide they are setting on that bottons so i cant hit the super jump lol, for that i was supposed to play in default so i can hit the XAA better but then I couldn’t super glide 🫠

I’ve been using the tall kontrol freeks since cod ghost and I haven’t taken them off since
Ive had kontrol freeks for 6 years and now even though i can aim without them its easier for me to aim with them in all shooters im just overall more accurate and my aim at range is better

Can back buttons on a controller be used to have extra inputs using steam, or do they just remap the buttons you currently have to the back.

My biggest problem with hold to reload and tap to use is when a teammate is knocked and infront of me i cant reload because it starts to res
Shoot the whole mag and it’ll auto reload, but only in that scenario because that’s also the slow reload animation

if ur on console, go into ALC settings and change aim assist to PC, if ur on console, you can play with a lower response curve or "linear"

you need to shoot all your bullets to auto reload, its a hard habbit to learn.
So towards the end with the controller tips. This video is for one's with paddles? Or both? Sorry I just got a little confused there
