- Growing up as a girl in Essex Danny Baker always thought he was a monster. Blighted by poverty and domestic violence, the young Danny began selling drugs and fighting everyone until he was sent to jail.
Shown love and acceptance like he'd never known, Danny began committing crimes just to go back to prison.
Eventually, he realised he was trans and had a sex change; it proved to be the best decision of his life and prompted him to embark on a boxing career.

“Guys this interview is not what you think it will be. Watch for yourself (until the end) and see”
That's the deepest voice I've ever heard on a trans man.
Trans fighting trans. Good level playing fields. Good luck with it all 👍🏼 Big achievement if (and when) it’s pulled off.
Why do people come out of jail and then glamourise the sentence like they did something great. 🤔
I don’t know , but that’s not what I’m doing ,., im using my story to lift others in the same position some of us do everything to create change . Why do people see other people do well and try to shrink them ? Ask yourself that … have a great day
@@dannybaker4838 I'm not trying to shrink you at all, I'm simply asking a question? When you speak on this, you speak with excitement and enthusiasm like you accomplished something by being the prison 'hardman'. Which is why I couldn't watch longer than 5 minutes, I think it's incredible from then coming back and reading comments you have managed to turn your life around. Truly, that's very Nobel of you, its just your delivery that threw me. Along with many other 'hardmen' that now tell their stories as some form of life changing experience. Constructive criticism isn't an attack, speaking from more experience than you know, you will be questioned when you are transitioning into something great, when you came from such a dark place. 💯
PS you are a realist and as a lesbo (lol) I completely agree with your opinion on Trans, and the fairness when it comes to sport. Respect you for speaking your truth.
