Sometimes the voice of just one person,, just the aural phonetics and the derived pleasure from it ,wherein the language becomes secondary, makes the world listen to , just to understand and appreciate the classical heritage of the whole country. The lady who is crying in the audience is the widow of another maestro from India, pundit Shri Jagjit Singh Ji. I have heard and still listen to this classic from Ustad Rashid Khan Saheb over a hundred times.but this video, unraveling his music to another culture is such a feel good feeling.. It's a tribute from one Maestro to another. Thanks for posting it.
