Watching replay from northern ny....love watching your videos...I was at first a quilter but found I couldn’t cut into my lovely fabric so I just collected more and more...so I thought it would be easy to get into scrapbooking or card making and after buying...I found out I couldn’t cut into it either! I thought...it’s just paper...you sound like my twin! Still having anxiety over it but your enthusiasm is building my confidence...will continue to watch and hopefully soon I will be loving it and chopping it! Thanks Kylie!
Watching the replay from East Tennessee. I am enjoying your videos so very much. They are so helpful and fun. It is April 2021 and these are still great.
I have been making cards for 12 years with Stampin Up but I have learned so much from you. I’ve made my templates and have started chopping. Suddenly I have so many choices. Thanks so much.
Connie Thornton yay!! This makes me so happy to read. I’m constantly learning too which is fun. Lots of my subscribers have taught me awesome things. Love how we all support each other.
Watching right now, 3:26 am from Cleburne, Texas (26 miles southwest of Ft. Worth). Just found you, quite by accident. Will keep on watchin’ - completely on purpose! Girl, you are just fun!!!
Hello Kylie I am watching the replay on You-Tube. I am from Sk. Canada. Just catching up today on the videos of yours that I have missed! Thanks for all your videos I love them!
LOVING THIS IDEA!!!!! A friend was here a bit ago and told me about your video. I hoard my DSP, but am NOT afraid to cut it........NOW i will cut it up into the two sizes that you recommend...and can and will go from there!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT VIDEO and tips!!!!!!!!
So sorry it's taken me 3 years to reply Carol! So happy that your friend referred you and that you are enjoying this idea. I love it personally, I am using so much more of my paper now.
Love that you are encouraging us to us our DSP! For vellum, I find that Tombow applied with a sponge works well - stays stuck but doesn’t show through...
I once made a book-marker with vellum. I punched two small holes at the top of the vellum and the base and pulled a small piece of ribbon through both pieces. I then tied a small knot and trimmed the ends short. It was only attached at the top so I didn’t need any glue.
fabulous Kylie, watching replay from Yorkshire UK. I have the Incredible You card kit so thank you for the TOP TIPS in putting these cards together. :O) xxx
You were 7 minutes late, I’m 11 months late! So happy to be catching up with your videos. I definitely need to stop horsing my DSP🙄 we’ve had three catalogs since that one and I’m drowning! So much beautiful paper!
Hi Kylie from western New York USA, home of Letchworth Park, also known as the Grand Canyon of the east, the Finger Lakes, and beautiful rolling hills. I have made cards with dsp but usually end up wasting too much. TFS your method.
Here it is a year later and I'm watching your video! After learning the true origins of Christmas my family and I decided to quit celebrating it also! We love the spirit of the season and the joy what it brings but it lost a lot of its magic for us when we found out what was really going on. Christ is deep in our hearts though! Your videos have inspired me to use up so much of my DPS. For that I want to thank you. I have stacks and stacks of paper everywhere that were being unused, just admired! Unfortunately with them sitting on my shelves I was the only one that could admire them. since I started cutting my paper up I've used it and now I can share it with everyone else and they can admire it as well ☺️. I'm in North Texas. I absolutely love your energy and your inspiration, thank you. Sorry I'm so late!
Watching from home in Memphis, TN My brother is in Australia on tour with his music documentary "Waiting-The Van Duren Story" wish I had come with him - I love your videos and I am a fellow SU demo
Diana Keiken-Sokerka Woo Hoo!! Have fun creating! Really appreciate you leaving me a comment and for your support 😘🥰 Keep me updated about your #loveitchopit progress!
Hi Kylie, I have seen Frenchie and Connie Stewart use the silicone mat and dab the tombow on it, apply the tombow with a sponge to the back of your vellum. So cool, and it works. Love your videos.
Hi Kylie. I watched the replay 2 days ago and I decided you are right and I have been chopping all my paper ever since. You have changed my crafting life. No more hoarding my paper. Of coarse, I probably am hoarding other craft items too. Do you have any ideas about not hoarding other craft supplies. I subscribed and I have been watching all your old videos while I chop.
Terry Huie yay!! So happy to hear that you have been chopping! Woo Hoo!! I’m sure I will have other ideas - but the key is having an organised space and being able to see everything you have. Watch Marie Kondo.
Hi Kylie! I’m from Florida in the US, I Wish you could move to the states so I could join you. Haven’t found anyone I love as well as you! Jealous of Australia!
I have only just found your videos but so far I really enjoy them. I think you were a UA-cam suggestion for the konmari method with your latest craft room tour. Oh and #loveitchopit is truly amazing. The color coded layers that I personally have been meaning to do for years Are something I've never seen someone do. But how you have addressed the different paper size and measurements is genius. I do enjoy a lot of crafter videos from other countries I know this will help. I'm so motivated and excited to use my 12x12 more. But I had a strong feeling with the more resent videos of the sympathy and wedding card. Well more of the wording, pictures with items or background and who I now know are brothers were dress so snazzy. Hello from your sis. in California. To my knowledge I have yet to find a demonstrator on UA-cam stampin up or know of anyone out side my family that make cards or is really crafty, who is also a JW. I hope your campaign gets off to a great start.
Amber Cook hey!! Send me an email through www.kykiebertucci.com. I can put you in touch with LOTS of our sisters around the world that love Stampin’ Up!® and crafting. Hope to hear from you soon!!!
Asking about glue with vellum...I use the multi purpose glue on the silicone mat, dabbed with a sponge wedge onto the vellum. Works like a charm & invisible!
I need to do this to my DSP as well. It makes so much sense to do this when it is how it will be used anyway. LOL It also makes sense because it makes it easier to work with when using the Big Shot. Thanks for the video!!!
Clare Nemeth Thank you! You can do it!! ✨❤️✂️✨ Keep me updated about your #loveitchopit progress! I hope you are in my #loveitchopit facebook support group? You can sign up here - eepurl.com/dkJTi9
Thank you for sharing this. I am going to start chopping. I will cut some to 6 x4 since I use the papers not just for cards but also for project life. This is going to be better for storing. Awesome idea. Thank you so much from Ontario, Canada
Good Morning, I’m watching this at the end of January as I only just discovered you via “Sandra Roberts” from Attleborough, Norfolk, England. This is great, I need to watch your “Chop it” video although I can’t seem to find it!!!! Can you help? 😀😀😀😀
Hi Kylie, Love your videos and cut it chop it. Connie Stewart has a video on adhering vellum it works perfectly. I have used this method very successfully. Cheers Carolyn
Love your video! You have such a winning personality. This is my first visit to your UA-cam channel and I was laughing about the not celebrating Christmas and I just wanted to correct you. We Jehovah’s Witnesses love gifts, just not on Christmas. We love them all throughout the year (pretty much for the same reasons you alluded to). We don’t want those gifts to stop flowing now do we!
Cass J hahahaha thanks so much!! Sadly many people I have come in contact with have thought that because I don’t celebrate birthdays or Christina’s that we are party poopers. That we are scrooges and don’t like having fun. So hence my little add in there that we really do love gifts and love giving them!! Thanks for the correction. I didn’t in anyway want to offend, merely correct a misconception of Jehovah’s witnesses. :-)
Kylie Bertucci I get that all the time, so I completely understand. I loved your comment and it was in no way offensive! Girl, you just have to live your life (do you) in the way that makes YOU happy (without breaking the law 🤣)

For vellum, I find that Tombow applied with a sponge works well - stays stuck but doesn’t show through...
Erin, thank you for sharing your tip on sponging Tombow on vellum, I will have to try it.
I knew it was something like that. I was thinking the aqua painters but it must have been daubers that I saw.
