Based on the groundbreaking Italian film 8 ½, Nine follows famed director Guido Contini, suffering from “director’s block” on his latest film and from a strained marriage to the neglected Luisa, as he retreats into his mind, where women from his past and present bombard his senses and throw reality into question.
Directed and choreographed by Kennedy Center Honoree and three-time Tony® winner Andy Blankenbuehler!

Pasquale has one of the great voices of our time. It would be great if this travels to broadway.
Two wishes a) transfer this to Broadway b) do a complete recording of the score with Mr Pasquale
1000% yes!!!
Three- a vlog from Queen Lesli
Guido sung well...Yeston must be thrilled
This was the best sung version of Nine I’ve seen. Everything was incredible, choreography, acting, set, singing, costumes. This needs to go Broadway with this cast.
I am absolutely losing my mind rn this is incredible
Such a hidden gem of a musical. So glad to see it in a legit production. This looks so fantastic! Post the whole show online please!
Love this show, great to see it performed and done so well.
Just saw this today. Go see it if you can absolutely phenomenal. This cast is unbelievable and this version and cast needs to be on Broadway. Cast recording please!!!
From what I’m seeing, I like this way better than the revival and movie. This score deserves excellent singers!!
Looks amazing 🤩
While watching this, I kept being reminded of the current look of "Chicago" revival ..minimal or no sets, onstage band, dancers provocatively dressed, in black, the lighting, etc. I wonder if this was intentional.
Yes it's about an Italian director but why all the cheap and phony Italian accents? Especially the actress playing Luisa.
The singing from the leads was fantastic as was the Jonathan Tunick orchestrations!
It looked like Hamilton with black dresses -- there was so much dizzy choreography that distracted from a lot of the numbers. Thank goodness the director left Simple and My husband makes movies and Be on your own without choreography and let the music, the lyrics and the acting carry and deliver those 3 songs!
