The only time you'll see a haggis is if you've had more than a wee dram! Good tale, well told. x

All those who doubt and poor scorn on this tale you should be ashamed. This is a wee tale
of a rare animal beloved by all who care about Scotland and its place in history. Fantastic.

    Thank you.
I read they were domesticated once but wouldn't breed in captivity. I only ever saw them wild.

Do they just run one way on the hillside then, if they have longer legs on other side? And are there different breeds, ones with longer left legs and ones with longer right legs?
Imagine a wild haggis meeting his other-sided mate, walking in the opposite direction. "Oh hi there Agnus. See you again on the other side of the hill!"

They can only run one way around the hill. To catch them, you simply chase them in the other direction. They fall over and end up rolling helplessly to the valley floor.

I always wondered about the wild haggis, is like the wild rarebit, only us Welsh have the wits to find one.

The Scottish are the best. They make in-jokes about things other countries make fun of them for just so they can get the last laugh. I love you guys. (Also, I love me some haggis. It's ten times better than boudin.)

Very entertaining. My friend had a gathering for Robert Burns and served (real) haggis. Couldn't think about what it was. Doused it with a generous helping of whiskey and took a bite...yes..."A" bite is all I could do.
