@@jennyclark6183No. The majority of graduates don’t speak at graduation. Typically, only those chosen to speak and/or the valedictorian/salutatorian speak . As far as family attending, his immediate family DID attend. Donald’s other kids are his 1/2 sibs and significantly older. I doubt they’ve spent much time together as an extended family. Nothing about the Trumps speaks to strong family relationships.

Chances are like any teen boy in a like situation, they are neither seeking out nor watching media that tries to verbally and psychologically assassinate their father's character. Any good friends that he has probably treat talking about his father as off-limits. The body-language in the rare and distant clips of Trump and Barron interacting would lead me to believe that while Barron might not like being in the spotlight he will "do a fleeting appearance" with his father as a favor. But other than that the non-verbal communication between them seems quite familial. For me this was a non-story, and actually kind of distasteful that media would want to make a spectacle of it for the sake of trashing the family.
Were they doing the same when Hunter's crack-bag was found in the White House?? Or better yet, with his laptop? No. Political bias is huge.

Every graduation I've been to 4 or 5 tickets are given (and I've been to tons of them in my 64 yrs). Unless you live in Buttock Pimplepop, Iowa. And having the ceremony in the Little League baseball field.

It will be interesting to see what kind of man Barron turns out to be, I have a feeling he will have very different ideals than his parents. Here's hoping. He must have had a strange upbringing and I always felt protective of him, like all kids of a president, being forced into the spotlight at such a young age, with a parent who is being attacked constantly and who works very long hours. Trump likely worked less than most presidents, but I imagine he's not very involved as a father, especially being so much older than his youngest son, 30 years older than most dads who have the energy to play with their kids and be involved with them. I hope he has a long, healthy and happy life, and can find some normalcy away from the madness of American politics and celebrity.
You usually get two to four tickets for a graduation ceremony. After the ceremony, there are parties and outings with friends without parents or siblings. It's part of "growing up".

My son graduated from a public high school, and along with my husband, younger daughter, and myself, both of my son’s grandfathers and step-grandmother attended, my older daughter who is 10 years older than my son attended, and so did her husband and young daughter. Sure, there were some people standing in the gym because the bleachers were full, but considering how much tuition costs for a private prep school like Barron went to, it would definitely accommodate several members from each student’s family. Don Jr and Eric are pathetic clowns, but I’m actually surprised Ivanka and Tiffany didn’t show up.

Besides that, for all us common folk, we just ask around, and there's almost always an extra ticket to snag from someone not using their full amount. I personally never attended a graduation that we all didn't get in. I come from a big supportive family, and there are many families out here like us. 2 tickets make no sense at all. It could be that while Barron was coming of age while in the White House, some secret service men who looked out for him, may have showed him how to be a good man. He isn’t stupid and can see what his dad is like and maybe is making the conscientious choice of not being like his dad. And the sooner he is out of Donald’s influence, the better off he will be. All children do come of age at some point and each must decide what kind of person they will become. Hopefully Baron has had enough influence from others to make a very good choice for himself.

@@Ketowski my whole family are conservatives except my son. We work hard to have a supportive family for all. We have Sunday Family Dinner. We get together at least 1 or two other times a month. My son and my nieces are not at a lot of these functions because they have school and need to study. One thing my family has done is work as a unit to be sure none of our kids have student debt when they graduate. Is that putting on a show? No, it is coming together where everyone is at. My brother worked with Congressman Ramstad for 21 years and then was friends with him until he passed away this last year. Is that putting on some kind of show? Conservative families are inherently closer and work as a team.
