At 15:00 the camera move is amusing, both the BMW and Citroën Picasso arrives and... the camera pans to focus on the Picasso. That was funny. And yeah, more variety and fun; after all, you can display your skills in a vehicle tailored for speed, but you show skills even better when doing it in a vehicle not designed for it.
James May : " Good news...Dacia Sandero (is not) here. But here is Dacia Duster coming." And you can clearly see how the Stig maintains his driving skills in a mint green Renault Twingo.
The thing with underpowered cars is you have to absolutely nail the driving just to keep in traffic and you can't afford to brake cos you are never getting the speed back. 😅😅
Gotta love how theres a bunch of racey cars with big spoilers and fast BMW's but who does the camera zoom in on? Damn right, the tiny twingo coming in hot lol.
Hi, basicly it s not an " event ", ok to some people shure, it s a public toll road. You can drive any street legal vehicle in touristenfahrten, here it s the speed thats makes the different. You wont drive these cars like this on public roads or drive this " style " on roads!😊
I used to have a Renault express (badged as an Extra in the UK) back in the 90's and it was super quick especially from standstill, the 1.9 litre engine driving tiny 155 tyres combined with a light body made for some entertaining driving, the seats were super comfy too!
@@Alexander.Z13 Thanks for reply. The taillights were changed in the facelift for the Japanese model, but were they not changed for the European model?
Yall americans think a car needs a v8 to even move. That renault express is a lightweight 90s car (back when the only safety features between the inside and outside was just a thin metal piece and hard plastic to add some beauty) with a fuel efficient european engine, I've seen those things on the fast lane of the highway overtaking a new bmw. You also see those things full of cargo, that's why they'd move slower, but without any cargo they're as agile as any car.
Did you notice? A big part of them are either French or Belgian. The Dutch, British and Germans are too busy trying too crack a laptime and forgot to have fun.
Don't you think the very reason and purpose of running this track is to challenge oneself by putting the driver and the car to the limit and slightly beyond, rather than just having fun?
@@viacheslavnovikov1657 Thats not what touristenfahrten is about though, it not a track day, they have those at Nurburgring aswell, its just a toll road with almost no speedlimits.
Even though I'm not sure my little econobox hyundai would survive a lap of the nurburgring... I would absolutely try if it were actually possible for me to go there.
@dockkkerr I took some Russian courses back in college, but I got flunked so can't read your comment lol...but thanks to Google, yep, that Ranger definitely holds up well there!
😫 I had a Rio5 with the 1.6 for 5 years here. It was an astoundingly capable little runabout. Replaced it with a 2017 Fiesta ST (what I think they called the St 200 in Europe) that I still have, it’s my profile pic 😎

Renault Express on express mode! I love it
I used to own one for my first car, back was kitted out for smoke sessions with the boys 😂 absolutely loved it.
People giving it all and enjoying the Ring with what they have. This is what we like to see! 👍
So much better watching this than the usual BMW fan boys all the time
Absolutely. Plus, slow cars going fast= GT Sunday Cup
Exactly
You're complaining about other people's videos like you're a paying customer that has a right to say anything. Useless human

Richtigen Reifen dagelassen
1:04 good lord the positive camber on that Panda lmao
ahahhahahah i almost spit cola on my screen omfg hilarius hahahah
I don't think they made it to the end of the session with all four wheels
That's not camber, that's the wheel holding on threads for its dear life.
No, at 1:12 you can clearly see there is no camber, its when the suspension stretches in the corner that it changes.
It's more fun to drive a slow car at it's limit.
That Renault express van clearly packing an RS Clio F4R under the bonnet!
02:01 well it's called Renault "Express" for a reason now!
James May : " Good news...Dacia Sandero (is not) here. But here is Dacia Duster coming." And you can clearly see how the Stig maintains his driving skills in a mint green Renault Twingo.
Even they don't look like that, some of those cars are surpassingly fast and also have good drivers.
The thing with underpowered cars is you have to absolutely nail the driving just to keep in traffic and you can't afford to brake cos you are never getting the speed back. 😅😅
Dude in that Toyota in the beginning is clearly having a blast lol. Doesn't take a supercar to have some fun.
Not every day you see someone flinging a Prius around the Nurburgring. Love to see it.
11:30 My Puma ahahahahaah thanks Man
I have the American version of that car, the Cougar!
I must say though you guys got the much better looking version over there lol
1:52 - never crying PIZZA delivery!
Can't wait to take my 80s EcoBox on there the coming September. I hope I make it in one piece.

i'd love to see a "winter" video. when it was snowing.

Pure la Multipla! Non manca niente.😂
Slow cars driving fast is my favorite compilation 😆😍
Presumably that Renault Express had a Clio 182 conversion or similar? It certainly didn't seem to be a slow vehicle...
exactly also A great driver inside
