I think they were a small part of a large divergence in metal in the early 80s- subgenres popping up like crazy - Eddie left Motörhead by in large because what he thought was her Yoko-ing the band. I wish they could’ve made just a couple more of records like coup de etat I think she wanted to change the way women were viewed in the scene but they were sharpening their beaks to the breaking point and just chucking the whole candle in the fire rather than burning ends- twice as bright and half as long. I was crushed when I found out she was dead. I have her tattooed on my right shoulder. I wear a Mohawk today @ 37 because of her. I think even if they changed styles a third time it might’ve been awesome because of her. She was incredible. c'est la vie.

Мне 17. Обожаю Венди :)
@@pandared5335 это отрадно, что поколение, не заставшее не то, что СССР, а даже самого конца 20 века, обожает Венди! :-) 👍👍👍

You had to meet her to really appreciate her . Nothing like her stage persona ! True, down to earth , pleasant as anyone !
Wendy fue una de las mejores artistas que pasaron por el rock, punk heavy...
Este vídeo lo vi cuando tenía como 14 años en un programa que se llamaba "viernes" que pasaba por canal trece.

Glad there was that warning at the beginning. I was just about to crash a bus through a wall of televisions but I now see that's best left to the professionals. Thanks.
Recently came across this and can't stop watching it, love it 😎❤️
I first saw this video when I was 10. It scared me to death and scarred me for life...and I wear those scars proudly as a hard rock/punk/whatever you call it supporter for life.
Thank God someone randomly set up that wall of TV's! The Rock Gods shined on you that day. RIP wendy
I thank God that I got to see The Plasmatics and W.O.W. live.
What a flashback, I used to see this video late at night when we gor cable tv here in PR, this generation right now is too soft for Wendy 🤟 RIP
Never heard of this. Didn't know what to expect but it's awesome
Wendy O = Pioneer, badass, and coolest looking rockstar lady I can think of
In 1985, Wendy was even nominated for a Grammy.
I think it was ' its my life' song whos written by Paul the gayest man Stanley an Jean Beauvoir... The hole album was awesome. I was 13 back then 🤘🇫🇮
@@rockrane1 👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻✌🏻
I always loved the Mad Max and Rock "n" Roll connection in that era. Matching perfectly
Wrecking TV sets never gets old.
блин,я просто в восторге! я не видел это раньше!
One of the most beautiful hard alternative rock music video I had seen in my life.
We miss ya', Wendy.
i was late discovering The Plasmatics and they and Wendy were gone by the time I knew they existed but they had almost as much attitude as the Ramones.
This is fucking awesome! Music, girl, desert, speed, fire... You are my new favorite group!
RIO, Wendy O. WILLIAMS. You were a groundbreaker.groundbreaking. I had read an account of working with her by famed executive bodyguard Leroy Thompson when he was hired to find and "dissuade" a stalker from bothering her. It was funny and revealing so see her humanity.
I actually remember seeing this on MTV in the early days of the channel
Awesome song.. Awesome musicians.. Awesome video! Wendy is amazing on the vocals & this is my favorite look of all the different ones She sported over the years.I miss her! Pioneers!
I remember her! I don't know why it tool so long for Wendy O Williams to hit my algorithm but this is awesome!
I like the over the top part of the music even when its metal but my favs r their punk tunes & performances. Glad they always stuck to their guns & followed their own vision, I respect their commitment as artists, but for my own selfish desire as a fan, I wish they had taken the Ramones path & never changed.
Love that UA-cam ruins the final shot by popping up tiles promoting other videos. Way to go.
This is easily one of the most kickass songs ever recorded.
Why I'm only getting to know this band in 2023? Damn shame. Better late than never, I guess.
does NOT get better than that.
Nite Flight on USA network played this video.....i was a kid.....52 now....glad i am the way i am.
I wonder if there’s a live recording of this song somewhere in a bootleg. I haven’t found it…
I see a cute woman with a mohawk, I click. Did not disappoint!
No idea how this band went under my radar.
Tonight I'm checking out the discography on spotify.
Greetings from Norway!
Image how remarkable a GWAR/Plasmatics double bill could have been back in the 80's!
There would be no survivors🥵🥰
One day in the near future hopefully they remaster all her CDs or vinyl
I’ll never forget Wendy coming on stage wearing electrical tape 😂
This band was really ahead of it's time. Love the Mad Max vibe. Wendy sounds like a demon! Cool. I really appreciate them and all their contributions to their craft.
I hate she’s gone, we had a great night together a lifetime ago.
She was a phenomenal woman. A true original.
You just got a new hardcore fan. This song... this video... It's just too much. I didn't knew this existed and am so sad I just discovered it.
i know they were mainly punk but this songs sound is pure metal \m/ , dark heavy riffs and great guitar solos, power vocals,
I LOVE THIS SONG..REST IN PEACE DEAR SISTER..
Seen her 3x she always rocked the show ,still listen to her music Richie Stotts still one of my favorite guitarist .
There will never be another Wendy. Killer song, epic video.
