Nice reaction as always! So Metal machine is about Song Titels, Metal Crüe is about Band Names and Metal Ripper is about Verses from songs.
Thanks 😊
The entire time I was waiting to see your reaction to the backstory behind Metal Machine lol, great reaction as always! Also all the best on your recovery from covid.
Thanks. Covid sucks.
Ahh yes. The Metal trilogy
In Metal Ripper Joakim was bound to the actual lyrics, probably hard fit that into a prefect flow.
In Metal Machine and Metal Crũe he was able to mold the lyrics using other words.
It's a fun concept, a bit like Weird Al's polka medleys.
Sabaton were absolute geniuses with these songs.
Metal tribute songs to Metal bands, its an awesome concept.
And i don't personally agree in Freddie being the "best" frontman, i will most certainly agree him being in my top 5, an absolutely incredible man with an incredible voice
Metal Machine: The songs that built metal/rock.
Metal Crue: The "crews/bands" that made metal/rock.
Metal Ripper: The lyrics that the told metal/rock.
Wish you did the Piscator lyric video for Ripper to get the references. I do agree that Ripper feels a little off, but Crue is easily my favorite of the Metal Trilogy.
Sabaton recently made a song called Metal Trilogy where they took lyrics from Metal Machine, Metal Crue, and Metal Ripper and combined them. And at that point, it's not ordinary metal, it's Damascus Metal.
Metal Crue is one of my favorite songs to just BLAST. I have about three versions on my personal playlist and it's a crank up the volume song everytime! Get well soon!!
Thanks for sharing your comments Dustin 🙂
"7734" is also fun and is kinda about how metal has become less popular but now its returning. You should check it out.
Well, that was an informative one. Considering the time between the recording and the uploading of the video I hope you've recovered from covid!
Fully recovered Thanks 😊
Agreed with Freddie being the best frontman ever (and even best rock singer).
But for the best metal singer - its Rob Halford of Judas Priest! You should really react to some of their songs (they're not based on history but still very fun and enjoyable)...
Greetings from Sweden. Hope all is doing well in this crazy world. Earlier memories for me when it comes to heavier music are these:
First encounter with KISS was not actually hearing them but seeing a big poster in the room of my big brother. It was the "Destroyer" cover. And while I thought how cool it looked with these four bad ass dudes wearing all that make-up I also had trouble figuring out the name. Because KISS in swedish translates to pee/piss.
Later on, upon being in the 4th or 5th grade I stole a cassette tape from my brother. He had written on it (because that is how you did it when compiling your own music list) and it said;
"Metallica - Master of Puppets". I put it in my walkman I had at the time and I listened the crap out of it. Used to just go into the woods and embrace the lyrics.
When one had gotten into more popular music ways like Guns n´ Roses coming of the speakers of EVERY radio, I met a class mate who was drawing some letters on a piece of paper. Its sharp edges with a lightning symbol in the middle spelled "AC/DC", which he later showed me at his place.
Now, regarding Sabaton I had never actually heard about them the first time I saw them live. It was 2005 at Sweden Rock Festival and I was laying on the top of a hill enjoying the summer breeze. In the corner there was this small stage that had some excellent music coming from it. It was this gig and I´ve been a huge fan ever since that sunny day:

Tony, thank you so much for sharing your stories with us. That video is awesome. I've never seen them perform without their camo pants before. I can just visualize a young man laying on a hill soaking it all in. 😊
I love metal machine yet I never got all the band references until just now, that's crazy
Thanks Aggy
I dont know why, but "the thundering guns of ghost division" sounds metal af xD
You should check out tommy johannsons music
The guitarist in sabaton
He does alot of music covers aswell as his own band majestica (also reinxeed which is the same band but name changed)
I did a couple of things from Tommy already. I watched his Christmas stuff last year and he is on the deep dive for 82nd all the way.
@@TouchyReactions Maybe check out his 1 Octave Challange?
Metal Ripper is made up of Album lyrics. You should have done the Piscator video as well tbh. Thanx for the dive into these hidden gems!
Love the Doggo!
Thanks Andre
Never heard off Manowar😯and for me it still is Freddie, it is something about his charisma.
Thanks M
Check out ManOwar, by Sabaton, its a tribute to that Band using album, song and lyrics from Manowar's music as Lyrics AFTERWARDS you MOST listen to some Manowar
ua-cam.com/video/K70nC0FbxiU/v-deo.html Warriors of the World
ua-cam.com/video/ebiccmDl8rA/v-deo.html Kingdom come
ua-cam.com/video/UE7ONvyXxm4/v-deo.html Defender

19:58 - OK, gang, you know what we should do now, right? Suggestions? - I'm not a huge Manowar fan by any means, but I'm thinking Manowar's Kingdom Come and (obviously) the Sabaton cover of Kingdom Come. What do you guys suggest? Warriors of the World United? Kings of Metal?
Lol
I personally really like Manowar and could spew out so many suggestions, but I agree the best starting spot would be Kingdom Come original & cover to get a taste and from there based on whether the music is to his liking or not.
@@ignorance112 I feel like it's almost blasphemous to say that I really love the cover by Sabaton, as the original is such a classic. To me, they're both great, but in different ways. It depends on my mood, I think.
Thor (The Powerhead), King Of Kings, Die With Honor, Sons Of Odin, and Slepnir are some personal favorites of mine.
iron maiden was the first metal/hard rock/rock band i ever heard, its one of my absolute favourite bands still to this day even if 2 of their later albums (senjutsu (2021) and final frontier(2010)) and 1 of their earlier albums (no prayer for the dying) didnt click with me unlike albums like the number of the beast (1982), powerslave (1984), brave new world (2000) and a matter of life and death (2006) did.
i daily watched my dads vhs of iron maidens "live after death" recording growing up in the 1990s to the point its probably completely worn out now
when you do start do reactions to iron maiden, i highly recommend the songs the number of the beast, run to the hills, rime of the ancient mariner, power slave, aces high and the clansman.
second and third metal/hard rock/rock bands i heard and fell in love with were rush and queensrÿche.
Iron maiden reaction drops on September 24th
since you love Queen you should listen to Tommy Johansson. he has done two awesome covers.. The show must go on, and yesterday he released Who wants to live forever
Sabaton have also done a medley of these 3 songs, called Metal Trilogy (with all 3 songs being re-recorded).
Thank you Michael 😊
Dude, you HAVE to listen to manowar on the channel, their stuff is so freaking good!
Thanks
Regards Manowar not really heard of them either. Although I believe Kingdom Come by Sabaton is a cover of theirs. You probably done it already but if not we'll worth a listen. Think there is a history episode to go along with it. All the best 👍 hope you over COVID soon.
Thanks David 😊
Hey Touchy, have you been listening to Tommy's Queen covers?
He has done The show must go on and Who wants to live forever. Tommy's vocal range are incredible, so I would definitely encourage you to check his YT channel filled with covers.
Okay nice reaction, little bit older video but i totally agree that freddie is best frontman for band also i was sure that everyone knows manowar and iron maiden 😂
Thank you 😊
Some technical feedback; At the end of the Metal Crüe song reaction, did some settings change because some static or less than pleasant sounds comes in together with your voice, easiest to notice around 36:05 to 36:22. I agree that for some it might be barely noticeable but it is worth to check out.
Edit: Even more noticeable at 1:08:04 to 1:08:29
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure what caused that. Hard on the ears indeed. Sorry
I think we're gonna need some "first time reactions" to some Manowar songs in the future 🤔
Personal recommendations in no real order: Fighting the World, Secret of Steel, Heart of Steel, Thor, Gloves of Metal, Swords in the Wind, Loki God of Fire, Warriors of the World United, Black Wind Fire and Steel, Gods of War, Hymn of The Immortal Warriors, Die For Metal.
Tommy is able to hit some pretty high notes, might be him, not sure though.
Thanks Drake
I was thinking the same thing, but I think that song was from before Tommy joined the band.
If you are gonna listen to manowar witch I think you should i suggest gods made heavy metal, die for metal and gods of war.
a bit disappointed you didn't also do Metal Trilogy which combines all 3 into a single song like with the live one, but whatever
Also as for it feeling clunky... You aren't alone. Metal Ripper is the least popular of the 3. My personal favorite is Metal Machine, but Metal Crue is also pretty good. I'm pretty indifferent to Ripper. It's a song.
Thanks Chase
Sabaton just announced that they are making full lenght movie with Yarnhub animations and live-actors. Called: The war to end all wars, taking place in WWI.
Cool 😎
