I have a couple friends from college who are blind and they had JAWS on their computer. It was fun making it say different things. We always made it laugh. We didn't type "lol" we typed "ha ha ha" and it would sound like it's laughing. I think it's awesome how fast you can type with one hand! That's amazing!!

You just amaze me with what you can do.. Your blindness doesn't stop you from doing anything . I used to think that if someone was blind they wouldn't be able to do most of the things your doing. But I bet the average blind person can't do what you can do

There's a program called Talking Typing Teacher that's a really good program for the blind. I never used a one-handed keyboard before I was blind, so I learned the key placement after.

I'm surprised that, as a nerd, I'd never heard of a one handed keyboard. Such a cool idea! Though you're not a huge fan of computers, is there a computer/technology feature that you wish someone would, or could, add to their product? As usual, thanks for the awesome videos!

I was wondering how do you then use the recipe you found to make the food? Do you print it in braille, or do you take the laptop into the kitchen and listen to it line by line and follow the instructions that way? (assuming you were cooking alone)

Very good. I recently was put onto three phone apps that are useful ... Aipoly Vision (a free version and a more advanced monthly subscription), TapTapSee, and Be My Eyes (a non-profit which is used to connect the visually impaired with sighted people who can help them interpret the world via camera smart phones).

Please don't take this the wrong way, because I'm not trying to be mean and, who knows, I may be wrong. A bar of soap normally goes on the soap holder. Shampoo+conditioner normally go on the edge of the tub/shower or in a little hanging rack by the shower head. I'm not sure I see where braille would come in handy aside from distinguishing between conditioner+shampoo, but you can put one on the left and one on the right.

i'm kind of confused is that really a one handed keyboard?
The reason i ask is because its full size.
Surely you can just use a bit of software that lets you use any keyboard as a one sided one, including your laptops built in keyboard?
that said i expected the more pronounced keys on the usb keyboard really help.
