Should I Tell Child's Teacher/School Parents are Separated/Getting Divorce, Special Needs or Not?

Whether your child has special needs or not, it is important to tell the school that you are separated or getting divorced, in case your child has unexpected behaviors or issues at school.
As a mom with children on autism, it was helpful to tell the school about the home situation, so the teachers could best support the kids during the difficult time.
