What desktop are you currently using on Linux?
I would rather use Xfce.... Using Gnome is like reducing the life expectancy of a PC...
Been on KDE for awhile now. Goings on at Gnome largely don't affect me.

Man, this just makes me look forward to COSMIC desktop.
I already have Linux Mint in my Home PC and Today i just installed VMware Workstation 17 Pro in my Windows 11 Pro (my workshop pc) and using Linux Mint Debian Edition 6 for getting used to Linux and learn few bits of essential CMD for my small newbie brain at work place. Let Linux Live On.❤

Worthless 5 year plan
So, the cunning plan is the famous 'Five Year Plan' used by many a CEO which, to my knowledge has always meant the business going completely bankrupt in three years.
A plan devised by a professional shamen whose vision is DEI and diversity hires, same as the studios in Hollywood which have shown sooooo much growth and popularity as a result. Oh, and using the magic words 'Inclusive/Inclusivity' and 'diverse/diversity' in every other sentence of anything written which I assume is part of the shamen thing.
I think I can see KDE taking over.
Finally! someone who can observe.
I hate those minorities' representation as its the reason gnome is gonna go bad same HOLLYWOOD

I have gnome running perfectly fine on a 2015 dual core Celeron with 4 gigs of ram....so I am pretty sure most peoples computers can run it..just saying

Yeah they got to stay relevant with the masses if they want to continue what they’re doing
It's gonna be a looooong time before the most popular Desktop Environment and default on the most distributions loses relevance.
This chaos reminds me that of Mozilla. The previous CEO, a woman, didnt do shit and then decided to take a break and change roles to that of a Strategist Board Member, still earning big bucks.

OOOOF! That's harsh in assuming nobody else has the knowledge and ability. But if they do not, Gnome will quickly hasten its demise.
