We've been following you since day one and enjoyed every recipe. Looking forward to sharing the future ones with you. Thank you for all the hard work you put into each episode.
I can't believe I haven't made Gnocchi from scratch yet, you make it look so simple and I always have the ingredients in house. Thanks for the inspiration!
Followed your recepy and added my own twist to it. I didn;t use alcohol but added a small cubes of smoked bacon instead. it was delicious! For someone who is not into peppers and tomato sauce you can do very tasty food if you just roast smoked bacon and add sour cream on top when serving. It's another way how to eat Gnocchi and also super delish. Thanks for recepy though. I was always only boiling gnocchi didn't realise that if you roast them in butter they will taste better and won't stick! Nice.
Thank you chef Tom for all your recipes! You demonstrate great skill, knowledge and respect for the food. I also enjoy how clear your explanations are and when I replicate your recipes at home the results are always above my expectations. Just a tip: I am italian and gnocchi is not pronounced "knee-oki" but the first gn sound is like Ñ in spanish. I hope this was helpful
To keep a smoke tube lit, start by using dry wood pellets and ensure proper airflow in your smoker or grill. Use a strong flame from a propane or butane torch when lighting the pellets, and let the tube preheat for a few minutes before inserting them. If the pellets go out, relight them as needed and experiment with different pellet brands and tube designs for the best results. Hope this helps!
Great timing. I bought some gnocchi on the way home from work and was going to search UA-cam for a recipe. This is the winner! Although I have bourbon but no vodka…. Hmmm
This gnocchi looks awesome!

I thought for a second that I was saying it wrong all this time.
Thank you for the kind words and feedback! We appreciate the pronunciation tip for "gnocchi" and will keep it in mind for future reference.
Never heard of it but I’ll take a 5 gallon bucket!
Chef Tom could you do a seafood bisque soon? Perfect time now in the fall season!
Awesome idea and recipe!!
We couldn't agree more! Chef Tom is the🐐
Holy Jesus! Tater dumplings, butter and mater sauce fortified with a little hooch! I’d get elbow deep in that!
We love to hear it!!
I use at the store this week. Picked up a Yoder y 640s! So excited!
We love to hear it! Enjoy your new grill!
I've used a simliar smoked potato technique to make a smokey cold potato salad. It was a nice subtle flavor to really mix up the side dish.
For sure! it's surprising how a little smoke flavor is all you need to spice things up every now and then! 💯
Looks AMAZING!
Yesss! Thanks for stopping by and dropping the first comment! 🔥
Smokey gnocchi sounds okey-dokey!
Let's dig in! 🍽😋
I think a natural "next step" could be a potato and cheese pierogi recipe variant. And of course, a brisket filled pierogi...!
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll let Chef Tom know!
TIL this is how gnocchi is pronounced in the US.
Either way, looks delicious. Thanks!
Looks amazing. For 8 people how many potatoes do you think I’d need? 5 lbs too much?
Some grilled sausage to that would be insanely good.
Grilled sausage is insanely good with most things! 😝
Did the potatoes take on any smoke? Did it cut through the rich sauce?
Always love gnocchi! 😋 How about with a meat sauce?
Can't go wrong! Get lost in the sauce! 🔥
Any tips on how to keep a smoke tube lit? Every time I use mine the pellets always go out fairly quick after I light them

@@allthingsbbq great! Thank you, I'm gonna try that

Let us know how your gnocchi experince goes!
I sense a new series: Will it Gnocchi?
Sounds like a Good Mythical Morning episode!
I like peanut butter in potato skins.
Sounds like a interesting flavor combo!
Let me get a plate. Do you think vodka sauce would go well with a lasagna or ziti
Yes, vodka sauce can complement both lasagna and ziti deliciously!
Trust me... they do explode. Took hours to clean my oven when I forgot to prick them.
Okie dokie smoky gniochi.
Dr. Seuss would be proud!
Great recipe, Tom, but you forgot to serve a glas of good Italian red vine ....
You're totally right! Always an essential for Italian food. 🍷
