Instead of cutting the thread in half and pulling 2 strands you could also pull 1 strand and fold it in half and do a loop start. Also saves you having to deal with the tail!

I also really think the artists deserve to receive their payments and I want to buy a Oraloa kit. But until now (I am always looking in their site) none caught my eye. This is beautiful. I love cherry blossoms, and almond blossoms, and I also love foxes, so it's perfect. My first time seeing a printed cross stitch. Thank you for showing it. I wonder if it would help with my issue of miscounting.. haha Sometimes my eyes just don't work as well as they use to, and I have to pull out whole sections, just because I messed up one count.
I'm the same, sometimes when I'm tired I miscount. These Stamped kits are perfect for when you want to craft but maybe don't have the energy for a counted xs pattern!

Im confused....if its a 14 count you only need 2 strands. It looks like you doubled the two strands and your stitches now are four strands....am I not seeing it right?
