I have been diamond painting for a bit over two years now. I loved that back then, the large size was between 17 and 20 inches by like 24 and 26 inches long. Now every painting is large. Many would take a few months to do, and you have to have a large wall to put them on. I know....details....but not all paintings need to be as large as they make them. I am now buying some of the small cute stuff from them, and my paintings from other shops (licensed, of course). All their paintings are beautiful and well-done but just not willing to devote the time to the large size which is now their standard size for everything.
Thank you for doing this comparison, Rachel. It was really interesting to see the improvements that they've made. There is a lot less pixelization nowadays.
It really has been a lot of improvements. I started with DAC in 2020 and the drills are so much better. The canvas is tighter and there is virtually no gapping. Two of the first 3 kits I got was Dahlia and Sea it doesnt matter. It took me so long to finish those. I kept putting them to the side. I finally figured out why much later. It was because the drills were not very good at all and I was struggling. The finished pictures were still very beautiful tho. One of them was long ago claimed by a family member. I have really enjoyed my journey with DAC and I love all the things that they have done to improve over the years.
I loved this comparison! I have the Kelly Eddington piece and you’ve made me pull it back out in order to work on it! Thanks so much for yet another informative video! 💕💕💕

@@elnoralouisa1 I would love more round diamond paintings especially if they are large ones
It would be really interesting to see the older kit re rendered and produced now with all the changes they have made

You are so welcome! 💜 It's so beautiful, I'm sure you'll love it!
Very interesting. I’m surprised they had that big of a canvas back in 2018. Sure, it could sharper, but really doesn’t seem to bad.
