That was a killer review, Brant. I've got these cranks on my mountain bike. It's a rigid 29er singlespeed, so kinda like a giant BMX bike ;). Anyway, I can attest to being completely confident on these. I'm running 165s with a custom 104 BCD spider that Ryan machined so I can run any 104 BCD mountain bike chainring. I haven't experienced any pedal loosening, but I did have to tighten each crank bolt one time over the months I've been riding them. At this point everything stays tight. I also never noticed the tiny gap at the pedal spindle, and even knowing it's there, I don't care. I have the coolest mountain bike cranks of any of my friends!

Lightest? Yes. Strongest? No. Ryan Williams snapped his in Texas Monster event. They look nice though.

The fact that they held up for as long as they did for someone like Ryan Williams is a testament in itself. Thousands and thousands of bails and impacts from weird angles.
Nothing is going to last forever for him.

He's paying for more his maraging steel then his titanium. And has to machine the arms from solid bar or rod stock. Worth the 1k but they're boutique.
Hilariously normal brands could offer the same stuff at like 20 bucks at most over normal cranks.
Small volume and small brand and orders make it extra expensive.
Like 48 plus dollars per pound for his steel. And needs to be made from solid stock. Meaning he's losing like 90 percsnt of his material purchased. But no way to afford to makes thousands and thousands of em to get the cost down to like 300 bucks or less.

Definitely not worth $1k imo but they are under a single POUND which is pretty damn impressive for a crank set

Ruff Bike co makes a sprocket that is machined to accept profile spline drive adapters as well. It's called the CSK sprocket but they're all sold out now but it would've looked so dope on your build.

I've been running RNC Superlites 2-piece for 18 months now and haven't had an issue. I'd like to upgrade to the new Legends but the Superlites cost AUD$906 with shipping and fees, so imagine how much the Legend cranks would cost the average Aussie battler?

His stem isn't titanium. It's just 7000 series aluminum and really light.

Should you not disclose if you paid for these cranks? If you was gifted then your view may be gifted

🧐 Sloppy welds for $1000.... They honestly look experimental and for G I think they should be proven first 🤨 at the same time if i had the extra scratch....

Worth 1K due to his raw material and processing costs. Albeit not worth 1k when you realize normal bmx brands could be doing this with better maraging steel for like literally like 10 to 20 dollars more at most over normal 4130 cranks.
Why I'm still working on me brand idea. Frames forks bars and cranks from a custom blended maraging 300 grade steel that's fully stainless not semi stainless.
