I would buy a 26" dirt jumper frame too as long as it was built for a suspension fork with about 100mm of travel, 160mm rotor, holes for a gyro, and different sizes for short people like me. You could put the bottle opener in the brake brace that runs between the rotor side seat stay and chain stay. I still ride my 90's Dirtbike once in a while and can't wait to give it to my son some day.
I'd be stoked on a track frame.. maybe... But if S&M gave into the DJ crowd.... Then they wouldn't be a core company any more. That would be like fucko skateboards making longboards or maybe Lotek making rollerblades.
@@NWDestroy I don't know. DJ bikes and riders are pretty hardcore and it's a business. It's better to make smart business decisions rather than cater to a few people who think everything has to remain the same for them to believe in a brand. Those people don't make for a successful and growing business.
The wheelie guys love Hookworms. It looks like those Speedballs barely fit, but could have been the camera angle. I would make sure you can fit 2.5" Hookworms for that frame, and tons of wheelie guys will probably buy them. Cheers!
I remember seeing a WTF sitting in my local for a couple of years. It had a short headtube. Strange frame and fork that came with it. Awesome frames hanging up there though. Having Chris do these videos has me amped to order an S&M frame now!🍻
Ended my years of many 20" set-ups with an S&M next gen dirtbike/pitch fork set-up. Still have it. Been riding 29"MB ever since. Looking foray to seeing what you guys end up doing with this new frame design/ direction
I can’t wait to get one of these booze crooze 29 er 135 rear end also makes the rear wheel a lot stronger. The hub flanges are spread further apart and make a much stronger wheel. The tire clearance will be awesome as well. Can’t wait.
I remember I always wanted one of the wtf frame fork combos .. and always loved the engraved head tube on the Cam Wood v2 ... engraved shield head tubes should make a comeback 🛡
What about a gusset behind the headtube? For the bottle opener to be within the gusset. Just an idea. That way you can ride, see the road ahead, and crack a cold one.
Not sure if this would be a controversial comment but are s&m looking to maybe in the near future going to add the built in chain tensioners to the s&m credence ccr Reynolds frame?
Fit Benny L V2, handmade in USA. Got that tapered seat tube. Mad to think it it could have been made here. But I'm wondering if one of them frames are the Benny 🥺🤔🤠
This is a dream I’d love to work or build bikes I have a blueprint kinda with most dimensions and all I’m trying get built in try my self as not pro but also have enough skill in my self to weld my own frames i wish I could work with someone and us create a brand of custom bikes. Love seeing this brings out my kid side again when I was 16 riding at Woodward on my old s&m w.t.f and l.t.f miss them.
@RoachDogggJR bummer..I remember giving one of my old laf frames to a buddy, he cracked it and they sent him a new metal bikes frame no questions asked...different time maybe?
If I known that type of job was hireing I'd applied and own that shit. Gabe was lookn like he was lost. Pulling a boxed frame. Lol he was caught. Should ve asked him you working hard? Or hardly working? Wouldve climbed the ropes and learned more then just my job. Working at S&M isn't wrk that's fun
Love checking out the old frames. So much amazing r&d over the years.

Still waiting on the 26 inch DJ frame....😊

That rusty frame rack is full of goodies!
I bet Gabe doesn’t stay so shy after a month of being at the factory😊☺️
I hope Someday s&m could make a very responsive street machine frame
Any plans for a production disc brake Steel Panther?
How about a 26" DJ frame?
Think they made one years ago

Thats been my only complaint about my ATF 29. If this fit a hookworm i would scoop up a frame in a heartbeat
we need more 20in trail frames with disc options
Fr
They have hinted toward the Mad Dog frame having disc brakes but im not sure when it will be released

Gabe needs to study his bmx History..butchering Nastazio’s name like that 😂
Don’t tell Nasty 😂
Jesus, i have a feeling Gade is a skateboarder. 🤨 soon to be converted
to be fair, that kid probably wasnt alive when nasty was in his prime days of riding and well known, lol
Missing a trick there Moeller! Tiki style bottle opener in head tube, & beer bottle cage mounts on seat post!
Damn would love to get hands on some of those old frames and add to my collection 😁

Would love to see these blasted and restored!
Shoot, just had a BOSS built and I would have absolutely bought that new frame!!! What a gem and after riding hyd brakes...

Ditto.
I was thinking under the top tube at the seat tube.
I was thinking behind Headtube and in between the Top & Down tubes
Easy access while riding.
Me and micky both rode the wtf for the slat lake shake dvd. Im pretty sure both of our parts are filmed on the prototype wtfs.
Dylan ambrose was my rep. Shoutout.
National treasure frames thanks Cris
That disc rotor is going to get roached doing grinds
Will you be doing a 26 booze cruise?
Thank you.
would like to see one of these on the old 90s Dirtbikes / Holmes frames
If priced right id deff get a frame & fork 😍😍👍👍👍
Let's see a BS-20 Neon from the GO magazine days
Not sure if this would be a controversial comment but are s&m looking to maybe in the near future going to add the built in chain tensioners to the s&m credence ccr Reynolds frame?
I love those "WTF "frames ❤🔥
Can the 120 rotor fit the frame would I be enough stoping power ?
Fit Benny L V2, handmade in USA. Got that tapered seat tube. Mad to think it it could have been made here.
But I'm wondering if one of them frames are the Benny 🥺🤔🤠
No shit me to I have a Benny frame from fit

I'd buy one of those wtfs right now
Fuck I want that Ed frame!
Me too i really want it
When is the release date for the new ATF 29?

Would it be possible to set this up as a 10 speed.
6:50 What about the S&M PBR frame ?
I wonder what Chris thinks when he redesign the ATF 29er to make it better but you have to think I’ve already made the best 29er in the Covid cruiser
S&m made black market?!!!🤯 bring back the killswitch!
Still have the cw v1 needing to replace the dropouts
Edwin longest running sig frame in any company! Yooo! Fit your S&M.
Would be in for a WTF reissue maybe with more modern street geometry

People don’t know about black market mtbs! They were the coolest back in the day, can’t beat s&m!
