Thank you so much for your tutorials. I have been 3d printing for a while and wanted to start making my own designs. I am 62 and was stumbling along trying to learn Tinkercad and saw your tutorials recommended so thought I would give them a try. Your tutorials have completely opened my eyes to what is possible with Tinkercad
Fantastic, frankly this was the only good tutorial I have seen on UA-cam. Not only was it comprehensive, but you spoke slowly enough that I got everything you said. You also pointed at buttons, icons, and menus slowly enough that I caught them. I thought that perhaps I was kind of slow in the head and that was why I couldn't keep up. But after reading the comments on the other videos I see that wasn't the only one who was having trouble. Thank you very much for a great video. I will be watching the rest of this series.
I'm a retired machinist who wants to get into creating my own 3DP items. I asked a friend what program he was using, and he said he likes Tinkercad. I searched for it and I created an account, and I began to take the tutorials. They are easy, but some are not, imagine that from a person with my abilities. I was getting frustrated, and I wanted to bypass those tutorials and try the actual program. I couldn't see a way to use the program, and I was going to forget about Tinkercad. Then I decided to see what I could find on UA-cam. I watched a short video of a guy making a part and it was quick and easy, but it was obvious that he was an expert using Tinkercad. Off to the right, I found your tutorials, and I'm very happy, and I will give Tinkercad another chance after I see what can be done with it. I thank you very much, and yes, I'll watch all of your tutorials.
I'm getting on a bit... (64) and so being a newby to 3d printing- I was totally baffled by Fusion 360-then someone suggedted Tinkercad- again totally bemused, bewildered and on the verge of selling the 3d printer, when I came across this video!!! WOW now it is beginning to make sense- I am actually understanding it thanks to your superb way of explaining this programme. thank you so very much- you've saved an old timers sanity.
Thanks for appreciating the content, they do take time to make but what's great is that I get to refresh my own skillset as I make them. Hope you get to design some gnarly stuff. Cheers!
Now watching all the 2023 verisions. Hope there is ine that shows how to bevel the inside of a hole or tube And, is a tube radius the outside of the tube?
when i do the 25mm block and the 25mm gap to stack the box there is a very very thin gap still between the 2 boxes.. When I did a test print , even though I joined the 2 boxes , the print was weak as if it printed 2 separate boxes . So I made the gap 24.5 and made the top box taller.. hope that made sense.
In my experience, so long as they are flush with one another and touching, it should print it as one piece. How much it overlaps doesn't matter. Have you grouped the items?

Would it be possible to do a video on importing svg files to create 3d printed lightboxes??
Can't get the duplicate to work like yours did. Mine just keeps duping to the same spot, it doesn't create te spiral. What am I missing???
You clicked away an then tried it... watch the part again - do not click anywhere after you reposition it and it should work...
Question...can Tinkercad export models to video editors like Final Cut Pro or iMovie?
Tinkercad allows you to export in .STL and .OBJ files. If those platforms allow you to import those files then yes.
