  • This video is a review of the Upright Go 2 posture trainer. One of my goals for 2022 is to improve my posture, so I decided to test out this device and tell you about my experience. I've been seeing ads for the Upright device for a while and I've always been curious to try it, but it always seemed kind of pricey to me. In this video I'll tell you if it's worth it in my opinion :) Hope it's helpful for you guys!

    Thanks for this helpful review. Do I need to have my data on at all times for the app to work?

    You are a really good reviewer. You touched on everything I was interested to know about this device. Only request would be for you to have shown other scenarios while wearing the device and describing it’s performance while it occurred. Thank you for the review.

      honestly I don't know, I feel like I didn't use it long enough to see tangible changes. I need to start again.

    Thanks for sharing! I've never heard of these for posture, I always see different chairs advertised but nothing that you wear. This does seem a bit pricy especially since it doesn't hold a charge and needs to be near your phone ( I am always leaving mine around my house, haha). This is prolly not the product for me~

    • @avooneverything
      @avooneverything  2 роки тому

      Haha I do the same thing with my phone when I'm home! I'd still probably use it, but yeah, it definitely wasn't my best purchase

      Doesn’t need to have phone nearby to work. I’ll wear mine and sometimes forget my phone & drive off OR it hasent been picking up my stats on the app for a while so , in emotion of annoyance, I’ll stick it on something and leave to do chores (since the straightness makes up for the straightness it doesn’t pick up) and then come back. It still works! Charge does last 3 days as well for the upright 2. It also works if your phone dies or you don’t want to look at the app. Depending on your internet provider, sometimes it’ll drop or go out which is nice when the device works without needing the app.
      The one she has holds a 3 day charge. It’ll even let you know how much percentage you have left on the app with an icon of the percentage left OR it’ll buzz you once to let you know if you’re not looking at your phone.
      Hahaha also the sticky adhesives…. Imagine it’s an expensive strapless sticky bra…you don’t throw it away after 3 uses! Just use non-scented soap and lightly wash it. That’s what the website also says. Even if it falls if you sweat, just wash and air dry. Doesn’t take much time. They also give alcohol wipes but you don’t really need them, so long as you don’t lotion the part your going to put device in. The only downside is hair somehow finds it’s way to the adhesive sticky stuff and you don’t know until you move your hair and you pull/rip hair pieces. Wish the adjevises didn’t take up so much space or stick out. I’ve had to sort of wipe the sticky stuff from the outsides before sticking it on (so push on the gel while still in plastic, where hair gets caught. Some of sticky stuff will push out, then I’ll grab those and wad it up and throw it away. Just do it doesn’t take and rip my hair in the back. Ponytails are fine as are styles that can be braided or even a coat/jacket over it. I hardly wear my hair down but the rug and rip does happen.
      Each pad should last around 10 uses. I think they give you 5 or 10 to start. I got the amount it came with, the necklace, & 20 more adhesives but it’s been a year and I haven’t even gone through the adhesives I bought (also took a break of 2-3 months cuz I forget weekends sometimes or need a break).
      The necklace IS annoying though because it ALWAYS moves and doesn’t give appropriate stats. Might be better during winter season when sweaters pat it down near skin. It’s nice when you don’t want to feel adhesives on your back for a day and still want to be undetected you’re wearing it.
      Word of advice: flip the device so the plug is facing DOWN, not up as if it were connecting to necklace. I’ve gotten mine wet 2 X before since wearing it isn’t noticeable. After a workout where body was warm and I didn’t notice. 2nd time it died. So flip it since the device is water resistant but not water proof. I didn’t know it could register upside down too but it does and could’ve saved my device!
      Also, if you have long nails, careful when pressing the button. It’ll still work but , I have short violin nails and even when I pushed the button once , my nail dug in the pad and left a print. No one knows but me and it’s just an as the tic thing but I think of that EVERYTIME I turned it on.
      Hope that helped anyone!

    I just ordered this and paid $99 including the necklace. I purchased black and regret it. I wish that I ordered a different chord.

    They cheaped out on the battery. That accounts for it having to be very close to the phone too. But the adhesive can be made pretty easy with double stick surgical type tape - the kind people use for toupees!

    Its not easy to retrain your brain for changing habits, you almost always need an external stimulus without sacrificing your focus.
    Apart from Battery life, for me this device is more of a long term investment of my health. Get the necklace, its totally worth it as compared to adhesives. It was a little hard in first few days as my body is so used to slouching but am already seeing the results of this.
    Totally worth it, wish it has more battery life like you said

    Girl, I need to work on my posture this year too! I think I'm about to add that to my goals, haha! Ooo, this is such an interesting product! I agree that it does seem quite pricey. Why are they charging like $20 for the cord too?? You're right that it's basically just a plain cord, haha! Omg, the charging situation sounds annoying too! That's too bad the battery only lasts like two days and you have to be close to your phone or computer to use it. :/ I totally agree that there are prob better products out there to help with your posture! :)

      @avooneverything  2 роки тому +1

      yes haha my posture hasn't been great since middle school and I really want to change that this year, at least be more conscious of it. But yeah, you don't need fancy equipment, I feel like even these cheaper back braces that they sell on Amazon might do the trick.

    You’re missing the most important part of a product review. Did the product that you’re reviewing help for what it was intended for? 🙄
    Personally, this little device changed my life. You’re pushing people away from a product that can change there’s too and it’s coming from somebody who, more than likely, does not even have posture problems to begin with.
