I just went to Hershey Rv show . After looking at many different Rvs. And looking at the prices. Airstreams are the way to go. The quality of a airstream nothing comes close

Patrick Botticelli’s walkthrough of the Airstream Pottery Barn is, by far, the best of the many videos I’ve watched. Helpful insight into construction, features and technology. Great high-level introductory instructions and suggestions on how to operate and use many of the features. Instruction manual says QR code is in front locker - I looked forever and could not find it. Patrick mentions that it is placed on the back of the wardrobe door - that was helpful. He pointed-out lights in the rear trunk compartment and near the clean-out that a new owner may not initially be aware of. Explanation of benefits of composite subfloor were insightful. Comments about the skylight thermal break design and the bath area skylight having privacy film to prevent viewing from the outside is very nice to know. One of the first things I noticed when pulling the AS PB with my Ford F350 was the stable and easy towing experience. Patrick’s discussion about the trailer’s center of gravity and torsion axel design provides an easy to understand explanation about why this trailer is so much easier to tow than some trailers made by other manufacturers. Comments about use of AC vs. DC power, inverter, battery heaters, storage tanks, storage tank heating and supply connections (integrated water pressure regulator, types of hoses to use, etc.) were packed with helpful yet concise information. Comments about significant climate control benefits provided by awnings are also helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make such a helpful and professional video … Truly outstanding.

Lovely! 2 suggestions for Air Stream / Pottery Barn. Add 1 floorplan option for the bedroom - 1 twin bed w/ shirt-locker & on opposite wall desk space w/ chair (like offered in the Classic) w/ TV on swivel arm (could be used for computer or tv from bed. With all of the remote workers and solo travellers these days - win; win; win. 2nd suggestion - where there is a blank wall, it's not always best to fill it with a whiteboard and hooks. Nothing personalized a space more than artwork. It would be so nice to hang a small painting (or artwork from Pottery Barn) where the 4 little bedroom hooks are on that blank wall. Very thorough tour. Good job Patrick.

I agree those 4 hooks must be for keys. Nothing else could hang from them. I thought a waste of space. Just need to o be put in other place.

Best walk-through of this unit yet! Very nice Patrick. Question, is there storage under the dinette seat closest to the the lounge TV? Is there any kind of pantry that was missed? Such as in the Flying Cloud line up with the pullout sliding pantry.
There are systems components and the wheel well under that dinette seat. There is pantry storage in the trailers just not the slide out type. The Flying Cloud and International in this 28RB floor plan doo not have then either.

This is a gorgeous design, but the added weight REQUIRES you have a larger truck to pull it. 900 lb hitch weight is a lot (compared to many other airstreams).
Thanks for looking, there are many Airstreams in the 25-30' range that have similar hitch weights. Many other models if equipped with factory options added and the 2nd A/C's will be the same or more than this model. The weights listed online or in brochures are always before factory options. The Pottery Barn comes standard with all the features so the hitch weight published is true to what it will actually be.
Don't know if you will see this. But, if I ever get a small trailer, like Basecamp or other, it will be AirStream. One because of you and the workmanship and Colonial. I also live locally.

Can you confirm that the AC unit are the Coleman Mach Quiet (The same super quiet unit that is on the Winnebago revel?). And thank you for all your reviews, you are the best !
The Revel does not have ducted AC like the Pottery Barn. Airstream uses the Coleman Mach 8 - 47000 series

It was mentioned in the video it is exclusive to the Pottery Barn Edition and not sold separately.

Not at this time but they did one in the 90's as a Norman Rockwell Edition.

How tall is Patrick? I really like that he lays and sits on the sofas and beds. This really helps give some perspective on the space, as camera lenses can distort the space.

I have been watching many videos and you are bar none the best! I saw a short video by a couple who stayed at a CA resort in the Pottery barn and they said the galley faucet was plastic? How could that be? Another video said the material used for the couch and seating areas would never stand up if you actually used it as a RV, what are your thoughts?

Thanks for checking out the video the faucet is metal however the part that pulls out as a sprayer and the handle may be plastic. We have many customers that have owned their Pottery Bars for over a year and they are pleased with the durability of the materials.

These Airstreams - and this one in particular - are beautiful. This pottery brand edition is great...love the beautiful table and other accoutrements. Like buying a fully furnished trailer!
I've been toying with getting a light weight mid-profile fifth wheel (first RV of my own) to make good use of my 2016 Chevy 2500 Duramax crew cab, but I can't deny the allure and appeal of Airstream quality. Your videos are encouraging me to consider stepping up to an Airstream travel trailer. I could use the aforementioned Chevy, or perhaps even my F-150 with 3.5 EcoBoost Max Tow package to pull it.
A few questions: Are Airstreams relatively mouse-proof (that is, compared to other trailers)? I can imagine they would be well sealed up, especially on the underbelly, and without the presence of slides. Hardly anything is completely impervious to rodent invasion, but maybe it might be EASIER to approach that with an Airstream.
Also, does the rubber torsion suspension have a pretty good reputation for maintaining flexibility in the long-term?
Thanks for the message. Airstreams are very rodent resistant as long as the owner is mindful not to leave anything inside that would tempt them. The rubber torsional axle can last 20+ years. My personal one was 60 years old before I decided to replace it.

Why, oh why does Airstream design their trailers with a split bathroom? Do owners really like exiting the shower directly into the hall? It makes absolutely no sense at all to me. This PB model is gorgeous in so many ways, yet the shower exits into the hall. Am I the only person who fells this is a design flaw? Wondeerful job, Patrick, on the tour!

Airstream doe snot have those features for a Globetrotter. Airstream does not offer custom orders or order deviations. maybe it will be added in the future. There will be new model launches at the Hershey RV show September 12th.
