I found it amazing how little car traffic there is on Tokyo's roads. Kyoto is much busier. And yesterday in Vienna there were traffic jams all over the city. Tokyo hasn't had this much traffic in September/October 2024

It is supprising how the atmosphere of the local towns of Tokyo changes depending upon if there are more high appartment buildings, office areas or peaceful resident places. It is really interesting to experience it from afar. So hilly parts are supprising, too. As you, dear Rion, are not a fashion guru, there is no need to change your style you are comfortable with. As you are walking so much in the sun white T-shirt is best slution and as you have so many of them the washing makes no problems. I just admire your skill while eating various dishes to not spoiling them at all. As you are a practical guy no changes in this respect are needed. Be & stay yourself!!! GAAOOO...

Last week I I was staying at Shinagawa and walked to the DonQuito near Gotanda station. I took the back route which I guess is the red light area? I do see a few of those hourly hotels but didn't see anything unusual. Maybe all the girls were hiding from me. 😭
