A Federal Government is good for example the USA. A federal government drawn on tribal grounds is not good for example Ethiopia. You would rather have independent states than a federal government based on tribal lines for example Bunyoro, Buganda, Ankole, Teso, Acholi, etc. Bad governments under unity or Federal systems are the worst. The fight should be against bad governance and leadership.
