I personally love this interpretation of Kamen Rider Amazon and how they handled everything. Instead of *just* being mindless gore and action, it has good costume designs, great action, emotional and fitting music as well as proper story pacing and development for the characters in the story. I especially love how this series uses grey storytelling, where there are no predetermined or built-up heroes and villains. Instead there are moral dilemmas, with the characters (mostly the amazons) questioning their own humanity and actions. Trying to figure out who they are, what their reason for fighting is and if they're doing the right thing by hunting down and exterminating other amazons. Especially since some amazons haven't transformed and eaten people yet, which could have them be considered as innocent to some (especially Haruka). As well as how conflicting ideologies (mainly Haruka and Jin) can cause tension and changes for a character. As well as the consequences for the actions that the main characters make. And this is especially the case in Season 2, where normal humans are getting infected with a new type of Amazon Cell that can actually turn them into these man-eating monsters. And when it's discovered that Chihiro is the cause of these new Amazons and infectious cells because of how he was born. Which could have audience members wonder if killing him is really the right thing to do, or if he should live and receive help since he never meant to cause any of this and actually wants to live and help Iyu regain her humanity. Combining this with him consistently denying his amazon nature and fighting against his instincts, and you've got one interesting character. I also like how the series as a whole shows that despite how Nozama Pharmacy wanted to end the Amazon threat since they created it, many of the employees and higher ups had done immoral things mainly for profit or for experimentation. Showing that no one is infallible and can be changed for the worse or simply don't have the same moral concerns that others would. I also enjoyed how you connected and summarized the manga to the main series. Especially since it's extremely hard to come by outside of Japan.

NabilRider555, actually it was, the last episode of season 2 was in late June 2017. At this point, the writers would start writing for the next season, which was Build.
It is a reference because Hiroki's actor would go on to play Banjo in Build and Banjo almost always wears a blue and white jacket which is a nod to this show
All the rider suits are amasin. Not to mention Neo Alphas weapon personally is the coolest in the franchise. I would atleast gave Neo Alpha another name like Beta, Delta or Gamma.
I loved Amazons. I assume the season did well, and I wish it had opened the door to more mature Kamen Rider series or more Showa reimaginings One thing I loved about the Neo designs (barring Omega), was the fact that the Neo drivers make it looks like the armor is containing the Amazon. The helmets especially having the bars over the mouths like they're a muzzle to prevent the Amazon from biting. They've been weaponized. An attempt to control these monsters. Almost EVA like
Amazons Season 2 was a big step up visually and sound-wise. More dynamic cinematography, purposeful cuts and transition, and genuinely unnerving gore scenes. That alone made the season more entertaining to watch for me.
Also Jin is probably the most compelling character in all of Kamen Rider and definitely my favorite rider. So much personality and acting subtleties to sell his character. Total joy to watch.
are we just not gonna talk about the fact that he originally uploaded it yesterday as History of Kamen Rider Amazons-part 1 with only season 1 being covered then took down the original video and reuploaded it with both seasons?
Honestly my biggest problem with Season 2 was that it introduced so many new and interesting things and characters... only to just throw it all away by the end. It made it feel like most of it didn't matter, and after hearing you talk about what happens in the movie, it sounds like none of it did matter for the most part. Season 1 is amazing though and an easy recommend... if you can handle the violence that is.
I don't think so. Season 2 did really meant something. How can you make like Nanaha's and Mamoru's death were nothing? How can you make that Jin isn't already at the point of insanity after being left completely alone and being obligated to act as a milking cow to make Amazons, his children, that later he will kill off as he did with Chihiro, nothing? How can you make like the investigation team didn't feel like there was hope for the Amazons to coexist when they see that Haruka and Mamoru were basically still by their side?
I think you said it best: Amazons is Raw. It's not the stylized fighting of modern Super Hero Time, where everything is cleaner and more streamlined. Where injuries can happen but you don't see a body get mangled or bones poking out of a fracture (for good reason, mind you). Amazons being for mature audiences allows for showing your fighters injuries in a more realistic (perhaps a better word would be savage or animalistic) fashion. Which is quite fitting considering the season is about hunting down people that turn into wild animals that eat humans. For the longest time, I couldn't decide if I honestly liked Amazons or if it was a guilty pleasure. A big part of that is the second season, as I commented back in the preview video: binge-watching the season may give a different experience, but watching week to week was excruciating, especially because of those middle episodes that focused on Chihiro and Iyu. Hiroki also feels like he has no reason to be there beyond the end of Team X, and him getting in the way time and time again in the final arc got annoying really fast. As a side note, New Omega has to be the only upgrade in all of tokusatsu that feels weaker than its previous form. A lot of it has to do with the fact that it arrived by the end of the season and didn't get a chance to demonstrate its strength, but still; it's actually impressive how much Haruka got his ass kicked right after he started using New Omega.
Yeah even in the movie, new omega still get his ass kicked. The only good battle (and win) is the off-screen when chihiro died lol. The only good things in new omega is his design for me (the combination of old organic & prototype-like mechanical is fcking cool)
its my guilty pleasure come to life. season is 1 perfect how they make it more like thriller, horror, survival action. but if they have budget like game of throne it would be awesome.
season 2 much more brighter from cinematyc aspect. i like season 1 cause the gloomy cinematography fit with the story. and the fighting more like survival.
Well, I do like the story based on this summery, and while I can stomach gore (To certain extends), I can't stand cannibalism or rape (Which I don't know if there is in this show and I don't want to know), unless is done by zombies-- the cannibalism, not the rape stuff---and I do love the costume design, I'm an visual artist first and a storyteller second (Although, I'm trying to make those 2 share first place) so visuals are the first things that draws me to a story (That's why I'm having so much trouble starting a reading habit, beyond manga). While I did like the look, it also ring bells to me that say "It may look cool, but NOPE!!" even before I knew the plot, the most edgy stuff I can go through it's Resident Evil (The videogames), Fist of the North Star and Marvel's Netflix show. *Sight Too bad we aren't getting any of those again. In the end, I like the show thanks to this summary, but no, thanks, no.
When i was watching this video back, I uncontrollably teared up when I saw Mamoru's yen necklace. I wish we coulda had a happy ending for him, but fate is what it is. (not i wish he had a happy ending in terms of the storytelling, but i feel bad for him being pushed down the path he did)
Jesus. So amazing I literally just woke up got on UA-cam and this is the first thing I see. Hell yes I wanna wake up to a history of Kamen rider video please. Thank you Marco for making my day and for making this history of video. Also I only recently got to see the movie. Why hasn't amazon just picked up the movie?? Anyway please stay awesome and keep Tha awesome vids coming
Amazon has a weird place in my heart. Jin, usually a character I wouldn't like, was my favorite and yet when he finally was put down, I didn't cry or felt bad. It felt like it was neccesary. On the other hand, man, Mamoru is the only Amazon I truly felt bad for. He was like an exotic pet introduced to the wild and the extermination service wanted to believe in coexistence with Amazonz once more thanks to Mamoru...but that was never possible :'(
He found out his wife was eaten, found out his son is a monster, got blinded, have his wife come back from the dead only for him to forcfully kill her. Name one rider that has a sadder story then that.
Finally, someone realize Chihiro is 5 years old. They were legit killing a child. Sure the actor is well over that age but the character was not. I kind of prefer the ending of season 2 actually. Literally a father killing his child, sure Jin is being through with his mission but we do see throughout the season that he does care for nanaha and Chihiro.
@@kellyjohana516 Its true. Only 5 years had passed since tailock. It was 2 weeks after this that Nanaha announced she was pregnant. This would leave 5 or so years for Chihiro to be born and grow into how we see him in the second season. Amazons already have ridiculous healing potential, and he is one of the first of the lycogenic cells, so its not too hard to assume that these new amazons can mature faster
I love Amazon's even seson 2 even with the problems but other than that I loved it it has become my favourite rider series. Also in my opinion it has the best henshin transformation as they just explode.
I still wonder how the actor was able to stomach raw eggs*, as I can barely handle cooked eggs on their own *(even if he threw up after he still didn’t flinch after downing an egg)
i love both seasons. Yasuko Kobayashi outdone herself with this series. another fact that you might forgot to put is that junglaider for amazons is actually retooled of gills raider
Both series and the film are all bittersweet, as it was satisfying to finish them, as on 1 hand, I really wish that we get to see more of what happens after 'The Last Judgement', but on the other hand, I believe it was the perfect ending to it all. So, bittersweet.
I think Amazons in great, and even though there are gore that I understand is required for the scene, there are unnecessary ones as well. But I don't see the hate on Season 2. It's not as good as Season 1 but it's still pretty good. One thing I hate about the suits is that when they fight, it's so cheesy to see CG blood but the actual suits remain shiny. They don't portray the feel of being "skin". But the suit designs are awesome.
When Mizuki chased after Haruka with the golden armlet, I always thought of it as an owner trying to welcome her pet back home with a shiny new collar. And I always wondered if Haruka felt just a little bit the same way.
@@Marcosatsu Thinking on it more, you could even considered the golden armlet to be like a shock collar. Haruka rampages or goes against orders, he gets punished.
Fresh off of finishing season 2. Haruka Mizasawa I quickly loved and I continued to enjoy his changes as the show went along. Also I thought Chihiro and Iyu were interesting, especially with Chihiro questioning why they can’t live. I knew Chihiro had to die by the end of the season when I saw the Neo Origin scene. Also I noticed amazons when they turn to amazons have different transformations in their skin before fully transforming, but with the new amazons they all had the same as Chihiro which I thought was cool. One last thing there’s a shot with Hiroki and a banjo behind him which I thought was a funny coincidence
I really enjoyed this series and I didn't mind season 2. I just felt like there was a lot of issues with some characters' decisions about Chihiro, but that was my nit pick. I over all feel like Kamen Rider Amazons (Amazon Riders) was pretty good and is in my top tier of Rider Series.
I thought the last amazons from 1 of the soldier at the church was bcus he is survive that killing spree when chihiro shown his amazons form & got infected (but its contradict with this video that said only kurosaki & nagase survive it). And yes, jin is the one who start everything (create amazons in the first place & "make" chihiro), but his way to kill all amazons is his way to clear the mess he made, but haruka just slow him down (tlaloc survival just make s2 happen & by letting chihiro alive as a baby, the whole s2 happen) so its also haruka's fault, basically chihiro is the victim, but still lysogenic cell come from him. The most sad part for me is eps 26 when he accept his fate to be killed but his instict doesnt allow it, only make him die in brutal way (not instant peacefully)
I thought I heard Marcos say Gatack was his favorite rider of all time. But I can certianly agree with him that Amazons and Haruka are certainly the best of the best.
Season 1: too damn awesome Season 2: it was good but that didn’t like little romance between son and dead girl. Movie: it was good This is why I like Kamen Rider when u take it into very dark tone
I love Kamen Rider Amazons. It's one of my favorite KR series. Can you cover Shin Kamen Rider Prologue(which Amazons is basically the spiritual successor of), and the two mid-to-late 2000s Kamen Rider reboot movies, The First and The Next.
The amazon sigma project with ryuusuke wasnt dropped. As called out in season two, Iyu is a sigma amazon, one made of a reanimated corpse. She was made because they needed an amazon they could rely on. And I can only assume the replica/sigma amazon driver was ditched due to its ties to tachibana's abomination in the words of Mr. Nozama. Plus in season 1, tachibana had made arrangements to make more sigmas, but it probably got cut off with the success of tlaloc. The one thing about sigmas i dont get is how theyre related to the amazon farms. He called it a sigma project, but the cattle amazons werent sigmas.
Kamen Rider on Japanese TV: “The power of friendship defeats all odds!!” Kamen Rider on Amazon Prime: “I was turned into a freak, everyone wants to kill me, and I’m fighting corporate genocide. I want to die.”
I just found out amazons is the Opposite of akibaranger (another spin off made for a older audience but for super sentai) where akibaranger is mostly a parody and self aware take on sentai amazons of the other hand is a bloddy gritty take of the rider franchise in the fact that both shows have 2 seasons
The dilemma between Haruka and Jin about their conflicting morals reminds me a lot of Takumi and Kusaka from Faiz Takumi is an orphenoc similar to Haruka who's an amazon, they're both riders that fights their own species and both just wants to live and help those who's deserving While Kusaka and Jin are the riders the aim to eliminate the kaijin of the series and save humans regardless of who they are bad or good, yes Jin is technically also an amazon but that doesn't really matter much to him because he's only an amazon so he can kill other amazon's easily. Kusaka is somewhat similar since he is unique for being able to use the Kaixa system and survive but of course he's just a human. Honestly from what I'm seeing in this video Amazons have themes that's used in past rider series but for amazons this aspect is exaggerated more since its the more focused idea of the story, plus likes marcos said, the way it's presented made it unique. In the wise words of Megamind: PRESENTATION!
So why do some Amazon’s look like monsters but others looks like armored fighters like how Haraka first looked mrore monster like but after that he looked the way he does.
Amazons with drivers (barring Sigma) have more streamlined looks because of the Amazonz Driver, making them more controlled than the run of the mill Amazon.

It was still blue even though regular armlets only last 2 years
But he did tear it off
@@alfi-il7bewe're suggesting blood should not have CGI all the time, why not practical effects like I dunno... packets that blow up on contact and just use clever camera tricks to hide them?
not only Haruka, even the experiment amazons armlet were still blue on second season
You notice when soon to be dragon boy appears one of the people he’s with is wearing a blue and white jacket later found on his character in KR Build, little reference maybe?
The was made wayyyyy before Build. Very unlikely.
This was covered in the TTT! Good eye!
NabilRider555, actually it was, the last episode of season 2 was in late June 2017. At this point, the writers would start writing for the next season, which was Build.
It is a reference because Hiroki's actor would go on to play Banjo in Build and Banjo almost always wears a blue and white jacket which is a nod to this show
I actually like Neo Alpha's design because it's kinda like a militaristic take on the Amazons
Like Tachibana wanted in s1 to use amazons ad weapons for the military
All the rider suits are amasin. Not to mention Neo Alphas weapon personally is the coolest in the franchise.
I would atleast gave Neo Alpha another name like Beta, Delta or Gamma.
@@Haseo55 Yeah, Neo Alpha surely sounds like a Beta to me.
@@Haseo55he pulls out a fuckin' chainsaw, I love it so much
I like how the filter goes from green to not green
You can’t keep ooo and ex-aid waiting forever Marcos! You’ll have to get to it eventually! Also, Kamen rider Amazons is really great
I loved Amazons. I assume the season did well, and I wish it had opened the door to more mature Kamen Rider series or more Showa reimaginings
One thing I loved about the Neo designs (barring Omega), was the fact that the Neo drivers make it looks like the armor is containing the Amazon. The helmets especially having the bars over the mouths like they're a muzzle to prevent the Amazon from biting. They've been weaponized. An attempt to control these monsters. Almost EVA like
You're correct about it doing well. We're getting a Kamen Rider Black reboot called Black Sun.
@@TheFLAMEXD I know Im excited for it and Shin!
Amazons is one of the greatest Kamen rider series 🤩
The best ever
It’s good but it’s definitely darker then other kamen riders
Eh, not for me.
Kaiden X it just like any other kamen rider with a dark plot and with gore
But its brutal
Amazons Season 2 was a big step up visually and sound-wise. More dynamic cinematography, purposeful cuts and transition, and genuinely unnerving gore scenes. That alone made the season more entertaining to watch for me.
Also Jin is probably the most compelling character in all of Kamen Rider and definitely my favorite rider. So much personality and acting subtleties to sell his character. Total joy to watch.
Your best video yet! Amazons truly is the best of what Kamen Rider is since Kuuga. Keep up the great work Marcos!
This is Mortal Kombat levels of violence man. The blood man. Fatalities and Brutalities everywhere.
Berserk with Kamen Riders.
I like to think when Jin was sipping the blood
from the livestock amazons his eye sight was slowly coming back.
I like your reference to deadmeat for the golden chainsaw
Can’t wait for history of Zio, whenever that is.
Hayden Greenlief same
*Decade season 2.
Expect for novels
Aka history of the history of kamen rider
same
Ey, I saw that dead meat reference there
are we just not gonna talk about the fact that he originally uploaded it yesterday as History of Kamen Rider Amazons-part 1 with only season 1 being covered then took down the original video and reuploaded it with both seasons?
49:05 I know I've said I don't really care for this show but yea, those freaking theme songs, so good.
This was one of my two most favorite Heisei Era series with the other one being Kamen Rider: Ryuki.
Honestly my biggest problem with Season 2 was that it introduced so many new and interesting things and characters... only to just throw it all away by the end. It made it feel like most of it didn't matter, and after hearing you talk about what happens in the movie, it sounds like none of it did matter for the most part. Season 1 is amazing though and an easy recommend... if you can handle the violence that is.
no one gets a good ending. just a frail, passive life and an endless run
How can you make like the investigation team didn't feel like there was hope for the Amazons to coexist when they see that Haruka and Mamoru were basically still by their side?
season 1 more like resident evil than here comes cihiro with his zombie. i mean i understand why. but they make it long until jin show up.
I love Amazons and I know i'm gonna get killed for this but I love Season 2 as much as Season 1
I agreed with that
I Prefer The First Season And I Dont Undrrstand Why Most Prefer Second: Rush Plots, Less Existential, So Many Holes...
season 2 much more brighter from cinematyc aspect. i like season 1 cause the gloomy cinematography fit with the story. and the fighting more like survival.
(not i wish he had a happy ending in terms of the storytelling, but i feel bad for him being pushed down the path he did)
Your effort really shows in this whole video! You deserve a break!
"Rend, slaughter, devour your enemies!
There is no other way to survive; you cannot escape your hunger, warriors of Purgatory!"
He was like an exotic pet introduced to the wild and the extermination service wanted to believe in coexistence with Amazonz once more thanks to Mamoru...but that was never possible :'(
Jin has the saddest story, I would say. Still, Amazon was my favorite rider series. It was so cool.
He found out his wife was eaten, found out his son is a monster, got blinded, have his wife come back from the dead only for him to forcfully kill her. Name one rider that has a sadder story then that.
Ghost
Because he can't eat dinner
@@wammygames7627 his wife didn"t eat by cihiro . his wife already an amazon point of origin. i hope jin explain clearer to cihiro .
minh thu nong yo, your comment made me laugh sooooo hard.
For most kids, Amazons can be as a horror movie and this video's intro prove it
Finally, someone realize Chihiro is 5 years old. They were legit killing a child. Sure the actor is well over that age but the character was not. I kind of prefer the ending of season 2 actually. Literally a father killing his child, sure Jin is being through with his mission but we do see throughout the season that he does care for nanaha and Chihiro.
How old is the actor
Wdym with Chihiro being 5 years old? You mean he just grew faster because he's like 1/4 Amazon?
@@kellyjohana516 Its true. Only 5 years had passed since tailock. It was 2 weeks after this that Nanaha announced she was pregnant. This would leave 5 or so years for Chihiro to be born and grow into how we see him in the second season. Amazons already have ridiculous healing potential, and he is one of the first of the lycogenic cells, so its not too hard to assume that these new amazons can mature faster
@@RecoveringWeeb Thanks for helping me explain this, I just saw the reply.
I will say this: any version of Amazon would be the perfect guest character in mortal Kombat
I love Amazon's even seson 2 even with the problems but other than that I loved it it has become my favourite rider series. Also in my opinion it has the best henshin transformation as they just explode.
Amazons was my first venture into Kamen rider and I will love it forever for that.
Amazon Riders is amazing i loved this video it was good to see a stray away from what we usually see in Kamen Rider
I loved the fights in amazons it felt much more animalistic and just felt more raw compared to most seasons
Loved this can't wait for the next history video. Was always interested in kamen rider but your videos have made me a die hard fan mate
I still wonder how the actor was able to stomach raw eggs*, as I can barely handle cooked eggs on their own
*(even if he threw up after he still didn’t flinch after downing an egg)
eh, it was pretty common in japan actually, one of the cheapest breakfast was rice and raw egg, add some seasonings and soy sauce, and that's it
i love both seasons. Yasuko Kobayashi outdone herself with this series. another fact that you might forgot to put is that junglaider for amazons is actually retooled of gills raider
That was talked about in the Amazons TTT
I 100% percent agree with your assessment of season 2
Both series and the film are all bittersweet, as it was satisfying to finish them, as on 1 hand, I really wish that we get to see more of what happens after 'The Last Judgement', but on the other hand, I believe it was the perfect ending to it all. So, bittersweet.
I loved amazons simply because of the music and the availability
I feel so bad for Kurosaki, his whole attitude is "What the fuck?"
But the suit designs are awesome.
sometimes you can see cuts in the costumes, but not always, because anyway, it remains a tokusatsu with medium effects
i hope the suit just like beast skin. than an armor .but w must admit, its because the budget.
@@alfi-il7be Yeah, you're right.
When Mizuki chased after Haruka with the golden armlet, I always thought of it as an owner trying to welcome her pet back home with a shiny new collar.
And I always wondered if Haruka felt just a little bit the same way.
Huh, I didn’t think about that, it’s actually very interesting 😄
@@Marcosatsu Thinking on it more, you could even considered the golden armlet to be like a shock collar. Haruka rampages or goes against orders, he gets punished.
4:39 I love how Jin was resting his elbow on the truck horn.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one to think that Season 2 was better than Season 1.
I hated Season 2.. Until Jin Reappeared and everything got revealed..
Neo tried to become the new MC but fail miserably lol
too much slow mo scene with iyu.i understand the the reason why cihiro with iyu but to many unecessary scene.
Kamen Rider Amazon=Tokyo Ghoul
Except we have Jin, wooooooooh!!!!
1:12:00 its because Faiz had already took most of the cool Greek letters, so he's stuck with Neo Alpha
you could say that "Jin eats Nanaha's Jellyfish" lol
I'm so embarrassing that i watch the whole series without knowing the storyline -_-
Honestly the part that hit me most was the tragedy of Chihiro and Iyu
Just when I'm going to sleep.Well played Marcos.Well played.
I actually like how dark this version of Kamen Rider Amazon is
This treatment Amazons got is what is making me excited for Kamen Rider Black Sun
Kamen Rider amazons seems quite the Gorey yet epic series in terms of dark nature
I loved amazon when I watched it and I love the review/history you did of it 😊
The sigma thing wasn't really dropped. I mean, Maehara was, but he died so...oh well. But isn't Iyu part of the Sigma project?
Iyu is part of the Sigma Project because she is a Sigma herself.
Damn, no "History of The First" unlucky
this was badass bro, keep it up, your videos are awesome
Alright, 2 questions:
1. Could you list your favorite toku writers and their works?
2. Was GAIM on HBO?? And it flopped?
1) couldn't go wrong with all Gen Urobuchi masterpieces
Great show! Watched it on Amazon Prime Video! 👍👍👍👍
Miraheze: "Kamen Rider Amazons is bad"
Me: *Jonah Jameson laugh*
Me starting the video: "I head its edgy and gory"
Me after the video: "FUCK ME, JESUS LET THESE PEOPLE BE HAPPY"
why haruka try to kill chihiro, no point cause chihiro wasn't infecting people, plus Jin started this not him!
Cause Chihiro was a human-eating Amazon out of control and his cells ARE the ones that turn people into Amazonz.
Chihiro sucks. Jin and Haruka are better
This series reminds me of Guyver . I love this series and the fact that the kamen riders didn’t go gimmick heavy.
I thought I heard Marcos say Gatack was his favorite rider of all time. But I can certianly agree with him that Amazons and Haruka are certainly the best of the best.
Amazons is by far my favorite kamen rider series, thanks for doing this
Sup bro
Sup
I've been waiting for this for 3 years, thank you.
Heck yeah let's go most bloody rated Kamen rider series with awesome openings and different main character motives.
Season 1: too damn awesome
Season 2: it was good but that didn’t like little romance between son and dead girl.
Movie: it was good
This is why I like Kamen Rider when u take it into very dark tone
I will agree, that the BGM is awesome.
I love Kamen Rider Amazons. It's one of my favorite KR series. Can you cover Shin Kamen Rider Prologue(which Amazons is basically the spiritual successor of), and the two mid-to-late 2000s Kamen Rider reboot movies, The First and The Next.
Ryusuke and Ryuji are played by the same actor? Wow. So I guess I did meet someone from Amazons at the 2018 PMC.
I have to agree with the Tokucast that Amazonz s2 comes straight up from a fan fiction
Since when was Gaim on HBO?🤔
59:25 wasn't the only purpose of that thing in-universe to make sure that Haruka survived Talloc?
Kamen Rider: (A family friendly kids show)
Kamen Rider Amazon: "Hold my beer."
Kamen Rider on Japanese TV: “The power of friendship defeats all odds!!”
Kamen Rider on Amazon Prime: “I was turned into a freak, everyone wants to kill me, and I’m fighting corporate genocide. I want to die.”
53:15 Didn't they have cinematic cameras in season 1 too, because they wanted a cinematic difference from regular Kamen Rider shows?
I just found out amazons is the Opposite of akibaranger (another spin off made for a older audience but for super sentai) where akibaranger is mostly a parody and self aware take on sentai amazons of the other hand is a bloddy gritty take of the rider franchise in the fact that both shows have 2 seasons
The dilemma between Haruka and Jin about their conflicting morals reminds me a lot of Takumi and Kusaka from Faiz
Takumi is an orphenoc similar to Haruka who's an amazon, they're both riders that fights their own species and both just wants to live and help those who's deserving
While Kusaka and Jin are the riders the aim to eliminate the kaijin of the series and save humans regardless of who they are bad or good, yes Jin is technically also an amazon but that doesn't really matter much to him because he's only an amazon so he can kill other amazon's easily.
Those amazons wallpaper u got behind u on the screen is awesome...i want!
