I keep seeing k-pop stans say their music is boring and overrated but for me I love it like they have a musical identity and the concept isn't to different and also their music fits the taste pallet of more people like their songs are marketable to all age ranges. I think its their strength personally am new to kpop but I get whiplash from how often a group will abandon a sound and completely switch up it often ends up meaning end up unstanning after a few comeback but so far aespa new jeans and bnd are the only groups that haven't had a massive concept shift.
I also like how both aespa and newjeans creators you can tell they care about art and let the artist behind the scenes shine like you can see that the people working on their concept genuinely love their job.
