he was originally a setter but joe worsley was there when he came in and jakob thelle took his spot. he left hawaii cus he didnt wanna play lib anymore
He was d1 before Masters. Went to GCU but transferred out because they wanted him to be a middle, then went to UCI but backed out because of covid stuff. Masters last year was just him re-proving that he's a d1 guy
@@jasper909 it's a lower level collegiate sports association, separate from the NCAA. Guys who aren't being recruited at the D1 or D2 level often go play at an NAIA program because they offer scholarships, whereas D3 programs don't
kinda miss #12 setting for uci i can understand why they changed the lineup but it was always so inspiring seeing him play, but they needed a bigger block still kinda sad seeing such a good setter as a backup
thought UCI were gonna be significantly worse when francesco sani left to play in italy but guess not nolan flexen is the perfect replacement dudes fuckin insane
7:38 that bounce was insane from Flexen
fr
8:38 when #9 was going for the ball he hugged his teammate on the bench
7:39 NEVER PUT 9 IN THE MIDDLE AGAIN💪
12:50 is this out of rotation? (N. 17, foot outside the court, Francis serving)
The 13:15 falling backset from Hilir Henno is just art
I've been waiting to see Sheward at the setting position, happy to see him on the court
Brett Sheward being a former libero turned setter is an insane assett to have. Its basically two libs in the back row!!!

I was wondering if that was the same guy lol
Nolan flexen No. 9 went from NAIA to bouncing it like that 7:39 in D1
what is NAIA? can't really figure it out from their website

UCI really just has the two like tallest outsides ever
they have 4 Middle Blockers!
7:37 that’s just not fair man
UCI #20 really stood out this game!
more like UCI #9 holy
I am from Germany and i love your videos. Maybe we can see some of the upcoming matches from a another camera angle.
9 and 20 volleyball geniuses
is #20 a left handed outside?
UCI #20 played veery well, but the #9's efficiency... OMG!
Its funny seeing these guys play in a beat up gym where the ball touches the ceiling twice in the same rally :0))
So neither team believes in setting the middles?
Saint Francis did good setting them in the beginning of the 3rd set but other then that yeah it’s kinda sad to see not a lot of middle plays
Bro you can’t tell me #9 was just an unknown last year WTF
kinda miss #12 setting for uci i can understand why they changed the lineup but it was always so inspiring seeing him play,

#9 was blessed in this match
Day 2 of glazing Hilir Henno

Number 9 on the white jersey team has insane hops I'll give him that.
thought UCI were gonna be significantly worse when francesco sani left to play in italy but guess not
nolan flexen is the perfect replacement dudes fuckin insane
It feels illegal to be this early
usually when the ball touches the roof the point is given to the other team, why do you always do things differently in the us 😂
henno is basically a setter wth
"GIMMIE YOUR TOES"
9 is ot on every block💀
