Idk man, for skyward sword I would’ve definitely said the final boss fight was the toughest by far. The imprisoned was a joke if you knew how to just time when to run up to his feet, but the final boss took me over half an hour of resets to beat, and the fight itself was a few minutes of very precise rapid fire attacks and shield blocks. Unless I missed some mechanic in the boss fight, the final boss was vastly harder than the imprisoned
I thought the same about the final boss when I first got there. But in my next try I realized, that you can hold your sword up (this guy said you can't make use of this, so I didn't even tried the first time) and paralyze him with a lightning strike. And then he was the easiest boss.... didn't even hit me once in that battle. But sadly, due to the mechanic of Skyward Sword, none of the bosses were really challenging. All game you sooo much time to just hit them right...
Has you try to fight the imprisoned on the switch and mainly switch lite? I ask because I know for me on switch lite the imprisoned gave me a run for my money
I do like the gimmick of Dark Link in OoT because he can be hard as hell if you have a lot of hearts or even the easiest and quickest boss to take out in the game if you're doing a 3 heart run since he will have 3 hearts as well lol
Not that hard if you use dins fire and the biggorn sword. Honestly I hated ganons final form and everyone thinks his is super easy so I guess it depends on the person.
Personally, I think that thunderblight was harder than maz koshia, mainly because of the whole, electric weapons thing. Ik you can avoid it with electricity resistance but still, alot harder than the monk.
@@speedude0164 so you're saying that botw's puzzles, bosses, and enemies, are all harder than every boss, enemy, or puzzle frmo previous zelda games? You have to be joking lmao. You must have never played any other zelda games if you think botw is harder than them. I can literally beat botw in 30 minutes. I can't do that with any other game. You're clearly mistaken
Shadow link and thunderbird from zelda 2 are definitely the the hardest final battle in any zelda game. You can cheat against shadow link but if you don't know about that he's almost impossible to beat. And thunderbird is just plain hard.
I have a funny story with that one. I did that fight once and I was on Stage 2 (Vaati Transfigured). I was really low on health so I was surviving off of the hearts dropped by the spiky blue things and actually pulled through.
Vaati is difficult to figure out at first, but when you get Downthrust and Hurricane Blade + upgrades, you can trivialize his first two forms and the first stage of his final fight. Hurricane Blade is kinda broken for boss fight cheesing, but so satisfying. Downthrust, when timed right, can eliminate the need for the Four Sword pads in the second phase, if the shockwave hits all four open eyes.
Me who beat Monk Maz Koshia on my first try but spent literally hours trying to beat thunderblight in the champions ballad to get the upgraded Urbosa’s fury: *okay*
Demise was really hard on my first playthrough, just because it really took me a while figuring out that I could also catch the lightnings. After that, I could easily defeat him, by rushing slashes every chance I had.
The snake form of Puppet Ganon is rather easy when you get up to one of the platforms above the room. It will continue it’s crazy race around the room. All you have to do is time your shots.
You can make the fight for Puppet Ganon in its moldorm form in the Wind Waker a bit easier by just placing an all purpose bait on the floor, by doing this the boss will ignore Link for a moment looping into the spot where you drop the bait, this will give you an opportunity to shoot the tail with the light arrows more easier.
Really, I didn't know about that. I guess that makes bait the fishing rod of Wind Waker. You can also hit him with a bomb to stun him and get a free shot on the tail, but even that's really inconsistent.
@@speedude0164 I know right, it took me by surprise when I first learned about that tip. And you can also use the bait against Miniblins as well, they will leave you alone for a moment to feast on that bait you drop on the floor.
The hardest boss for me in phantom hourglass was Beldum because I had a Japanese copy of the game so I couldn't read the dialogue and then I was stuck not knowing that you could stop time. In spirit tracks, the boss I had the most trouble with was the sand snake skull thing. I think that you guys might have missed Hyrule warriors: age of calamity
Malladus was definitely challenging and memorable for me. However, there is something you forgot to say. The first phase of the battle take place on the Demon Train while he is in control of Zelda's body. You had to go there while Zelda protect you from his beam and Cole tries to use electric mices to use Zelda as a puppet. If it happens, you have to cut the strings with your boomerang. Once Zelda hold Malladus, you have to shoot a light arrow.
Bongo Bongo in ocarina of time I though was more difficult than dark link. Din’s Fire can pretty much slay dark link with little retaliation and the Magic isn’t that big of a deal if you come prepared with a potion.
I HATE Bongo-Bongo. I hold him off for as long as possible (go in, grab the boots, get out, move on to the next temple). I think he's the hardest boss of all the Zelda bosses I've played (note: I have not faced all bosses).
I also think the sisters/Twinrova was a much harder time than Dark Link because of the aiming required (and the severity of each hit if you messed up.)
Dark link was so hilariously easy. The whole point of the fight is he knows how to fight the exact same way as you. He doesn't know how to use dins fire or the hammer because he straight up doesn't have them. Ez win
The Imprisoned is easy! Just ignore the toes and use the air geysers to get to the level above it. Jump on top and slash the spike in. Be proactive when it goes into the red slither up phase, and use the air geysers to go up 2 levels. Position yourself above it again and jump down once it's standing again. Rinse and repeat.
I would have agreed with you on Dark Link being the hardest boss battle in Ocarina of Time (OoT) had you not disqualified him in The Legend Of Zelda II: The adventures of Link (Zelda II) due to a glitch and then proceeded to ignore legitimate strategies to defeat him in said game. Yes, you can crouch in the corner and easily defeat him in Zelda II, but that was exploiting an unforeseen (remember when the game came out. Even though there were several advances in video games, in and of itself it was still in its larval stages; which is why I consider failures such as Zelda II essential to the growth of video games) situation where you have the advantage of hitting your enemy while benefiting from invulnerability. I mean, when calling Nintendo Support at the time to ask for hints, barring glitches of course, to defeating him; their answer was equivalent to today’s phrase, “Git good son!” Whereas in OoT he only mimics Link when he holds the Master Sword. That means if you do the work to go out of your way to obtain either the Biggeron Sword or the Megaton Hammer then Nintendo rewards you with the fruits of your efforts by giving you an easier fight. That makes sense because Dark Link is a “shadow” of Link and is a master of what what the conceived perception of what Link is and when Link acts unconventionally Dark Link cannot cope because inside he’s screaming, “I AM ERROR!”
Ganondorf’s fight is far harder. I haaaaated the final form and actually ran out of arrows because the window to shoot successfully then get around to slash is so damn small. It didn’t even feel satisfying or epic, either, just cheap and tedious. Dark Link was okay to fight. Except I somehow accidentally cheesed it idk how: I got one good hit in then just kept whaling on him the second he respawned so he just…kept sinking. And only used my master sword and shield (I like having my shield…) Honestly felt incredibly underwhelming after its 20 year build up (kinda like the whole temple-really. It’s not that bad at all. JabuJabu’s Belly in Ages is still the most complicated level I’ve played to date (and 2D makes 3D look like it’s for chumps as a general rule.)
Dark link in OOT can be defeated by just hitting him with the megaton hammer a few times, he can't block it and it always hits. In majora's mask you can use Zora form and just throw your blades at him from the bottom of the water, it always hits unless he is charging you at which point you just swim tightly around the center pillar.
agreed. Bongo bongo is harder imo, but maybe it's more subjective. I can imagine someone struggling with twinrova. Though gyorg doesn't have a high bar to reach since the others are pushovers.
thats weird for me he blocked it multiple times lol landed first 3-4 times but then he started dodging n blocking it, easily the hardest fight for me in oot
I found the level 7 bird boss in link's awakening way more difficult than the one on the list. I used to play trough level 8 to get the fire rod so I could easely destroy the bird 😅.
I just fought that monk a while ago and it was just okay. I used urbosa's fury everytime he levitates. Out of the four divine beast, I had difficulty finishing in 1 try the waterblight.
Waterblight was at the beginning very difficult for me. I don't know why. Maybe because it was the first boss for me. But when I had the fight hin the second time in the dlc package I almost fell asleep😅
Dark Link from OOT is VERY EASY! Use the biggoron sword, target, hold up on the joystick, and keep pressing B( or w/e the sword button is on other consoles) Link should be doing a stab thrust move, sometimes it looks like a stabbing uppercut when pressed enough. Very easy!
@@minight1711 It's the reward for taking 2+ hours to get the Biggoron Sword, lol. And Dark Link's fault for not being able to defend against a 2 handed sword. Dude's got a shield! It's not impossible.
In my opinion, the hardest of the imprisoned bosses is the 2nd. In my experience with the 3rd fight, you groosinater the first phase and drop on him, and it’s smooth sailing from there.
Link to the Past. I always had trouble with Mothula. Was usually the halfway point of my playthroughs, and was always an issue for me to get past. I never seemed to have enough magic to get through it with the rod and I could never track the moving spikes well enough. There were times I would skip ahead a dungeon and come back with a little bit more health to defeat it.
tbh, it was bongo bongo for me. I remember laughing at his name when I saw it and thought, “this will probably be easy” it took me 2 days to beat him and a lot more days of stalling the fight. It’s never really taken me more than an hour on any boss before, let alone 2 whole days. I don’t what it was about him. Maybe it was how I kept running out of materials and fairies and was on 3 - sometimes 2 or 1 - hearts when I’d fight him, and he does like 2 hearts if I remember correctly. I think it was also the ZL targeting thing. God I hated Bongo Bongo so much when I was fighting him, but I think he was a cool boss.
I find Phantom Ganondorf and Volvagia in Zelda Oot where the difficult bosses because of both of them have attacks which done absurd damage and are hard to punish for me (also Phantom Ganondorf has in his second Phase a chance to use a surprising kill move which goes throw your shild and is very fast so you must pretty quick react and dodge these attack) Good Video😉
I never found Dark Link in OoT to be difficult, because I always had the Biggoron sword by the time I got there. He can’t dodge the Biggoron sword’s thrust attack.
In Link's Awakening, the Slime Eel wasn't the toughest boss. It was actually the Nightmare Ganon during the final battle inside the Wind Fish's Egg. He could only be harmed by charging at him with the Pegasus Boots. This was difficult, especially in the remake for the Nintendo Switch as his flying pole weapon and flaming bats made it hard to get to him.
Nah, the Final Boss’s Final Form…at least until I learned the boomerang trick, which is kinda hilarious. But growing up…so many arrows and the boss really doesn’t give you any space to maneuver while moving about pretty randomly. Up to that point was Okay once my family figured out The Trick to deal damage. But so much dodging (or trying to) and shoot arrows…way harder for us than Form Ganon.
Considering that Iron Knuckle's attacks dealt alot of damage that makes sense. However Dark Link like avoids every attack. It's been awhile since I played it but Iron Knuckle can be made easy if you have enough bombs. When it chases you it will step on the bombs. Lol. But I don't remember how the whole fight went.
crayk was one of the best bosses in phantom hourglass (which is my second favorite video game) but it also wasn´t very hard to figure out. If you have somewhat fast reflexes, It super easy. I´d say that bellum is the hardest because of how long the fight is.
Best cheese in a Zelda game is also Maz Koshia. Drop bananas in his fight and he gets distracted by them, walking over and eating them while allowing you to do damage.
as oot being my favorite zelda game, i find volvagia of te fire temple the hardest. he attacks you similar to the slime eel but at the same time, the can send fireballs down from above, and since your in 3d, it takes time to find the fireballs and dodge them, but the hardest part is getting to the bossfight in the first place.
@@reimisugimoto3617 All bosses in Botw were easy. It's a shitshow of bosses as none of them are even challenging. I could beat them all without even getting hit.
For Tears of the Kingdom (which I know wasn't out when the video was created) it's probably Queen Gibdo because if you run out of arrows, you have to start the fight over, and that's not even mentioning that you have to wait for a recharge and/or use an elemental arrow, and that's not all. It has high power attacks and, in the second phase, it summons more Gibdos which you must take down using the same method.
I kinda disagree about Dark Link in OoT, because I don't think there was a single time I *didn't* have the Biggoron's Sword. While it wasn't the case the very first time I played through, I make it standard practice to get that sword before entering any of the temples. Of course, this also requires that you get Epona, visit Goron City and Zora's Domain right after getting the Master Sword. Might also want the hookshot.
At one point I thought Dark Link from OOT was tough but beating him is easy for me, just don't lock onto him, I don't think any of the OOT bosses are tough to beat though I do find Barinade and Bongo Bongo a challenge sometimes. But I do agree with the Lorule counterpart of Kholdstare is a pain to fight
I feel like bongo bongo is significantly more difficult (at least on the N64 version) than dark link. Time the megaton hammer swings and you're set with dark link.
Although the imprisoned was very stressful, for me, my least favorite boss is the sea monster in the sand ship. It only takes damage from skyward strikes, which didn't take me long to figure out after asking Fi, but you arm sure feels it (unless you use button controls, you monster). But striking all the tentacles poking up from under the ship is stressful because you can't target them, they can grab you, and you can only skyward strike him. As you are trying to strike one tentacle, the others grab you. Also, if you accidentally make a vertical cut, tsk tsk tsk, it just doesn't work. Very annoying, but certently not as half as stressful as the imprisoned
it was annoying having to charge the skyward strike whilst also moving around to avoid tentacles whilst also trying to find a tentacle to aim at since they’re constantly trying to grab you but also disappearing as you attack
Exactly. I thought I had to cut off all the hair at first because the tentacles were neverending to me. In fact, my sister did most of it after I did a few phases, but it was enough to make me hate this boss
I think Monk Maz Koshia would be harder if you had to fight them earlier in the game. By the time you get around to fighting them, you've already beaten all the Blight Ganons twice
Can't agree with any except maybe Puppet Ganon and the BotW monk. The Twilight Princess boss that always catches me off-guard is the one that gives you the flail.
Idk if they made the 3D version of dark link easier but I never found dark link to be that hard Ps: I did use bigoron sword but I didn’t cheese with it
The final boss of Skyward Sword and the water temple of Majora's Mask both gave me an intense struggle because they both failed to properly communicate with the player. I was forced to use the hint stone at the academy to learn how to defeat Demise, and I was forced to watch a guide on UA-cam to figure out that the fish symbols in the water temple are intended to be arrows pointing in the right direction
I’d say Dethl for Link’s Awakening… However it’s a different story for the switch remake. Why, you ask? Well… Look at the GameBoy. He LITERALLY gets free roam. Now look at the switch: he’s stationary.
moldorm was so frustrating to beat in my first Link to the Past playthrough. I cannot tell you how many times I fell off the arena and had to climb back up the dungeon.
having played Twilight Princess, I can 100% agree that Argorok was the most annoying boss to fight in that game, and while not the toughest, the two harder bosses were fun to figure out the weaknesses of, and therefore fight, Argorok was just tedious.
For me Trinexx in Turtle Rock from LTTP was the hardest boss. Its not too terrible as long as you have magic, but once you run out it gets exponentially harder.
I created this one tactic with Deku Nuts and Megaton Hammer to fight dark Link. Nut then hammer jump attack. Its so good but takes a bit of "time" if you get my drift.
I completely agree with Gyorg being on here! While I didn't suffer the 3ds battle (thank god.) I think the fact that the second time I fought him I found him easier is because I did not need to deal with the stress of it being the FINAL DAY. I still resent him to this day...

All game you sooo much time to just hit them right...

Personally, I think that thunderblight was harder than maz koshia, mainly because of the whole, electric weapons thing. Ik you can avoid it with electricity resistance but still, alot harder than the monk.
Both bosses were easy. Botw is probably the easiest zelda game ever made
I think Maz Koshia is harder overall, but you'll likely be way more prepared for that fight then with Thunderblight so you won't struggle as much.

Shadow link and thunderbird from zelda 2 are definitely the the hardest final battle in any zelda game. You can cheat against shadow link but if you don't know about that he's almost impossible to beat. And thunderbird is just plain hard.
@@joeywalker2061 they are the hardest, but because their are unfair and suck
I have a funny story with that one. I did that fight once and I was on Stage 2 (Vaati Transfigured). I was really low on health so I was surviving off of the hearts dropped by the spiky blue things and actually pulled through.
@@joeywalker2061 I recall finding Vaati harder than Shadow Link (No cheesing) or Thunderbird, but it's been a while since I've played those games

The Imprisoned was super easy, did all three on my first try and I can consistently beat it while taking no damage. Demise was way more challenging.
Literally, Demise is the biggest challenge in the entire game
@@cajunseasoning1846 very fun boss though
Ironically, Demise was a joke for me. With proper shield parry timing the first phase is super easy
Demise was really hard on my first playthrough, just because it really took me a while figuring out that I could also catch the lightnings. After that, I could easily defeat him, by rushing slashes every chance I had.
Demise is a joke if you have the Sacred Shield or Hylian Shield equipped, which is why I like to fight him without a shield
All purpose bait indeed
I just beat windwaker a few weeks ago... now I have to play it again just to try this out 😂😂😂
Wow, I never knew that. Hardcore Zelda fan here. I've beaten all the main titles.
„This breath of the wild boss is very hard“
Banana: let me introduce myself
Finally someone I agree with lol
@Karen Goncalo Cleto Barboza try using the ice arrows it's the only time there very effective and useful versus a boss
I just finished skyward sword yesterday and I wish I’d known that a week ago 😅
Biggoron Sword is always my top priority just because of Dark Link.
Fr, I just mash the hammer on dark link in OoT and he goes out pretty quickly
Isn't the water temple after the fire temple?
@@MrRLYWhite yeah that hammer makes super quick work of him
Ganondorf’s fight is far harder.
Sadly I didn't have the hammer until after I completed the water temple. Lol.
Honestly, I feel like Mothula is the hardest boss in ALTTP

Very easy!

I always did the forest dungeon after the town. It's WAY easier to deal with all the mummies when you have the Red Master Sword.
Ah yes Argorak, the boss I don’t remember even though Twilight Princess is the only one i’ve played twice
tbh, it was bongo bongo for me. I remember laughing at his name when I saw it and thought, “this will probably be easy”
it took me 2 days to beat him and a lot more days of stalling the fight.
I find Phantom Ganondorf and Volvagia in Zelda Oot where the difficult bosses because of both of them have attacks which done absurd damage and are hard to punish for me (also Phantom Ganondorf has in his second Phase a chance to use a surprising kill move which goes throw your shild and is very fast so you must pretty quick react and dodge these attack)
Good Video😉
I never found Dark Link in OoT to be difficult, because I always had the Biggoron sword by the time I got there. He can’t dodge the Biggoron sword’s thrust attack.
Zelda II is the hardest Zelda in existence. Try it, I dare you.
in skyward sword the hardest boss for me was the final form of giraham at the end, I actually still havent beat it after around 30 attempts
Spin attacks also hurt him. Still hard tho.
But so much dodging (or trying to) and shoot arrows…way harder for us than Form Ganon.
the slime eel in links awakening was SO HARD. it took me so many tries to kill it.
Yeah that's definitely one of the hardest bosses amongst all Zelda games.
Nice choices. I was thinking about OOT and for me I found the Iron Knuckle in the spirit temple to be a more difficult fight than dark link.

I haven't even got to the Mork boss. But the hardest boss for me is Thurderblight. I had died so many times but I defeated him
I kinda disagree about Dark Link in OoT, because I don't think there was a single time I *didn't* have the Biggoron's Sword. While it wasn't the case the very first time I played through, I make it standard practice to get that sword before entering any of the temples. Of course, this also requires that you get Epona, visit Goron City and Zora's Domain right after getting the Master Sword. Might also want the hookshot.
It's been awhile, but I think you have to have the hookshot to get the Biggoron Sword.
The sea monster takes damage from arrows too. I found it easier to just shoot the tentacles with arrows
What the heck. I will definitely use this tip in my hero mode save now. Thanks!
