Before i quitted my riding in 2003, i had 5 Accidents Every year since 1998 , and it was Always some other car or a dog or whatever just jumping in front of my wheel, so that i crashed. Now rethink your statement deepper.
@@bustjanzupan1074 Ive been riding for decades, Ive owned many bikes, did motocross and now I track day on a 2014 Aprilia RSV4 Factory and a 2017 RSV4-RF and I still say motorcycles are not dangerous, or they are dangerous in the wrong hands, also yes can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. You could say a bicycle is dangeous, you could say running shoes are dangerous. With your 5 crashes every year you must have had some bad luck going on or just plain you don't know how to ride a bike. Live your life and let me live mine.

I have a 2020 RSV4 RR with Arrow exhaust and tune and it's just unbelievable!! Microphones don't do justice how it sounds and feels to ride one of these V4's. You feel the sound in your whole body.

Still the best sounding bike after all these years. May be old now and certainly not the fastest but that sound i sit in my garden and love to hear them in the country lanes near me. I've had loads of bikes and have 3 now but for some reason never had one of these...🔥🔥

It was a 9.7-9.8 sec @245 kmph quarter mile and he was in curve too
@@henksjoerdson9729 The fastest bikes have been possible to coax under 11 seconds since the 1970s, yes indeed. It wasnt until the updated GSXR 1100 and Yamaha FZR 1000 of 1989 that somewhat regularly below 10 second runs were being achieved with factory stock bikes though in my estimation.
Just another note, Your dads bike wasnt a 1974 since they werent produced then, but it might well have been a 1977-78 or so. Cheers mate.
The RSV4 is an amazing bike and the Aprilia V4 is the GOAT engine. You just can't get used to its unique sound, always goosebumps!

The Aprilia rsv4 is just the best sounding street bike.
We've got some roll racers over here in the US that do CRAZY speeds. When they're racing 9/10mi they often go 220+(++). Built huge displacement hayabusa's that are putting out insane power. Totally crazy! Then there's the guys to build the turbo bikes and that just ratchets it up about 10x.😮
I don't know much about motorcycles but I think they're pretty cool

I want mine back 😭 it’s been in the shop for 2 months now and I’ve just been torturing myself watching videos like this. Bike sounds great btw. I switch between a SC projects slip and a Graves pipe. The Graves sounds very similar to yours. There’s no better sounding bike made currently that comes close to the symphony of a Aprilia v4 💪

For those wondering about power to weight ratio, here is some perspective:
Aprilia RSV4: 197kg + me with clothes and helmet (95 kg) = 292 kg / 201 hp = 688,35 hp/ton.
F1 is around 1250 hp/ton, Kawa H2R has about 1400 hp/ton and MotoGP bikes have about 1500 hp/ton 😅

Got the same silencer and not impressed at all after I changed from the black carbon Akrapovic with race map. Much darker sound and from firing up amazing sound.

I love cars, but, especially because I’m a working-class man, there’s absolutely nothing that beats a decent sport bike for a pure, visceral rush.
Pick up any number of different Japanese or Italian or German sportbikes and you can have $250,000 car speed for ~$8,000 if you buy clean used bikes.

They use the torque baggage of a really long first gear as traction control it seems .
Well, wheelie control, to be exact. And even so, it still got lots of electronic trickery to prevent wheelies. Useless with shorter first few gears on a sports bike.
