- Hello Lovely People.
Welcome to my Channel!
I am finally back guys!! Yay!!!!!!!
I hope you missed me because I really missed making content for you.
On the 5th of May, I celebrated 9 Years of being Natural. How time flies...
And in celebration of that, I decided to flat Iron my Hair for the first time in a very very very long time. My hair isn't bone straight, because that wasn't the look I was going for. In this Video, I talk you through my process of straightening.

Awww, thanks so much❤❤ I will try my best 😊
Nice video. Hair past waist length is "hip length" 😁 your hair looks so beautiful 😍
Thanks dear 😊😊❤
It’s actually called tailbone length
This is real long natural hair journeyooooo, compliment and press on towards your goal. Thanks for sharing
Thank you ❤❤
You are so underated smh!
UA-cam algorithm...😅
I like how you don't straighten your hair with heat a lot. I believe heat is one thing that destroys 4c type hair. I currently have my hair in African thread and then I wear a braided wig when I leave the house. i do use shea butter as well when I do my washing. I have never trimmed or straightened my hair since I began my journey 4yrs ago. I might do it for my 5yr anniversary next summer. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next video.
Why was I actually dancing to the introduction 😂😂😩😍
😁😁😁❤
Sis you hair is so thick and gorgeous. Seriously you’re so beautiful. ❤️

9ice dance moves.ur hair gonna make the caucasian girls mad jealous 😀😎
Abi oo 😏😁😋
Love the video Adobe but where are the visuals for the process and the trim you did. Not a lot of videos out there for this process at your length
I understand but at that time, I wasn't able to capture the process. In the future maybe....
Please, can you tell me how long you've been using rice water, how often you do the rinse, and do you think its contributed to your growth or was your hair already long? Medaase papaapa!!!
My hair was already long before I started using rice water at that time. I think I used it for 6months or so, then I stopped. And even then I wasn't using it so frequently. I would occasionally use it as a leave in spritz or as a treatment and wouldn't rinse it out.
Nice video.. I think is actually good that you did not do a silk press, but a regular blow drying and a regular straightening, it still leave you with some volume and looks very nice and natural. That is what I think of doing in the future. I am on my second attempt to natural hair, I failed the first one because of the two strands nodes and the dryness and breakage in the ends of my hair on my third year. I used a lot of protein and rice water then, I should have been more careful and used more moisturizing products or balance the two. I am trying it again and I am just getting close to my first year. I have a long way to go but is ok. Is my fault for not staying in track in my first attempt. Again thank you for the video I just found your channel and subscribe.
Thanks for subscribing and Welcome to the family 🙏🏾🤎. Sorry to hear about your mishaps but now you know better and will learn from your past mistakes. 🤎
You're drop dead gorgeous! And sooo funny!
Thank you 😅🤎🤎
Did you straighten it yourself? Maybe 6 months to a year from now you could do a silk press video?
Yes I did, I might consider doing that❤
I keep my hair like yours. I don't my hair straight.
girl i thought it was wig ...youre hair is gorg ....!!!!!!yass queen
Thanks dear , your hair looks beautiful as well 😘❤
When are you going to try wave formers!!! 😝 Beautiful hair, babe. 💕
Thank you dear. I have heard you. Will add it to my to-do list 😁
Your voice is so soothing ☺️
Thank you 😊
Wow your hair is so Beautiful and thick too. Love it ❤️
Thank you 😊🤎
How did your ends become so damaged? It doesn't like you use heat, except in this video.
Well, I'd say old age😅. Those ends are nine years old and have experienced so much manipulation over a long period of time. Even though I try to keep my hair stretched most of the time, I still have fairy knots and those lead to tangles, splitting and eventually breakage.
@@ObaaYaaJones after you explained it, I now understand how hair can become damaged without heat and with age. Thanks for explaining. 😊
Hello Lovely people, in this Video, you'll see whether my Hair reverted back or not! ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/rkb1axe6GJc/v-deo.html
Why do you say heat is trauma for the hair. It’s not. That’s a problem with the hair videos, I think. Heat is actually growing my hair, no more tangles or single strand knots. If you use heat on low temperature is okay
Heat in itself is harmful if not used properly. If you are seeing results, that's awesome.
🤎
You got beautiful hair. Yeah another rice water baby.
Thanks dear ❤
Why didn't you video it ? instead your explaining
I tried recording but it didn't workout. 😔😅
Oh. *clicks off*
Interesting... u apply heat to ur hair with aloe gel in it?
Yes at that time I did.
That looks like hip length or tail bone length.
😊
Nice😁😍 The ups and downs can be frustrating. My hair would break off on the ends about every two months. I learned that deep conditioning weekly and adding water every other day was too much moisture. After two years of moisture my hair need less🤗 so now I add water twice a week and deep condition once a month😁😎
Yes, it can really be frustrating. 😅 At this point however, I don't stress about my hair anymore. I just try to give it what it needs. 😁
I have promoted one of your videos on my website 😊
Ohh really, thanks alot❤️❤️❤️❤️ What is the name of your website?
@@ObaaYaaJones Ur most welcome. It is at www.allesovernatuurlijkhaar.com. It is a website about Natural Hair, written in Dutch 😉

Can you put a link for the Aloe gel
Unfortunately the one I use has been sold out for while now and they haven't restocked . I don't even know if they will. So I am looking into trying a different brand on amazon.
Obaa Yaa Jones awwww that happens too often! I pray you find a great alternative

Keep learning and understanding your hair and also be patient. It takes time, but eventually you will reach your goal length!
I know the feeling, but once it do start growing girl it takes off, once it got to shoulder length mine stopped then I wore non tight box braids till my hair grew past my shoulders to arm pit i start drowning my ends in moisture now im brastrap length, for some reason my hair does alot of growing in spring & summer idk y
