Never heard such nonsense. The idea that Milton reacted against Christian orthodoxy and that this orthodoxy was Roman Catholicism is ludicrous. Wow!!!!! Later goes on to opine that religion, heaven, and hell have gone!!! Jesus! Gone in the age of puritanism?? Wtf. And later still, apparently there was no difference between the dramatist and poet! Incredible!!
