Bella’s face when you said they have to buy two pairs, one for them, one for the foster center was amazing. She smiled so BIG, and it showed us how well you are raising your children, and that they will be needed. Thank you for all you do, I would love to foster but I’m single and travel for my job. But my heart is open and the time will be right one day.

Seatbelts are extremely important! My sister was just in a bad accident. She is in serious condition and her husband was ejected and killed. He was not wearing a seatbelt, she was. I always told my kids the car wouldn’t start if they weren’t all buckled! They all buckle up. Works for my grandkids, too. Love your videos.
I told my kids and grandkids the same thing. I remember them telling their friends that they better buckle up so I could start the car. 🤪

They so are. Which is why I get frustrated in vlogs when CP kids aren't wearing them at all or not properly. Latest person was Ariana in her vlog on Crazy Duo where she drove without her belt on and was also a passenger in the car again not wearing her seat belt. This family is so contradictive at time in saying they do stuff but been caught not doing so.
I have to tell my stepfather that I won't go until he has his seatbelt on. He is really bad about wearing a seatbelt.

And I have to say, adoption has made your family amazing and I can’t imagine it without all the extra blessings in kiddos God brought into your family. Just love it!

I love the fact that you are giving back to the foster care community. I know that when im older im gonna do foster care and adoption and that's all because of you. Its funny to see how the younger boys style has changed. Rylan is like a mini Lucas and Liam is a mini Jake. Im actually jealous about how many shoe stores you have. in my country the only store that's like a shoe store is footlocker so I've had Air Force 1 for years know so I feel you Max.

I just want to take the opportunity to say that Aurora has come so far from when you first had her on the channel. Each and everyone of you has made a positive impact on her development. It's been really precious watching her grow into the gorgeous wee girl she is today. I can't believe she is starting full time school already, it feels like she was a toddler last week. I'm especially happy that she has been seizure free for so long, life is hard enough without having medical things to overcome. I can say this as I've been sick since I was a little girl but God has graced me with the miracle of ten years longer than all my life long specialists gave me. Your channels, family and unconditional love is very inspirational to me. After losing both my parents in the past 18 months has left me with no family but my friend of 34 years (we met when we were 10) and her entire family have always been like a family to me so I'm very lucky. I feel so happy that I get to be a part of your UA-cam family. Thank you for all the hard work all of you put into your channels. Xx

I love that you have your kids pick out two of the same pair. All kids want to do is fit in. Getting new shoes that are new and trendy helps more than people realize.

I can only imagine. I work in a shoe store. The exact reason I work there is I have a huge family and I get 40% off everything including brands excluded from other promotions for regular customers. I don’t get promotions anymore but every time my mom shops there, there’s huge saving because the employee discount is better than the promotions the shoe stores throw out there. The store I work at is local to my area, but it doesn’t sell any one brand so it is like DSW or Foot Locker. Lots of shoe brands so less limitations.
If one of your kids was interested, they’re typically pretty easy work and you can wear whatever you want there as long as it’s not shorts or a tee shirt. They usually hire at 16. In my family, someone works at a shoe store, a grocery store, target, Staples etc. We purposely work in different areas of stores we use so we can get savings in different aspects of life. That way, you don’t have to search for the right prices. They are just all right there, which is beneficial because sometimes you pay the exact same price going somewhere else because you have to pay for gas, which is not cheap these days.

Joe my husband uses the same line "It's a dry heat" when we go to Vegas. Sorry but when it gets to the 90's and triple digits I don't care dry heat or not, It is awful. Of course I grew up in a very cold area.
If you can tint the windows some or put some kind of curtains over some of the side windows it might help the air-conditioning work a little better in the back by keeping some of the sun out it may keep it a little cooler.. Just a suggestion while you look for a better air conditioner.
Fun fact long sleeve shirts provide protection from sun UAV/UVB and if light blend it helps keep cool.
The brand of shoes that work for me are "New Balance." For back to school stuff. I wait until mid school year and gather school supplies and donate them to a school each year. Schools get lots in the beginning, however half way through are running out of things. So I try to help out then.
Max, there’s nothing wrong with wearing and buying the same shoes over and over! If you’re comfortable and happy then go with what you want!
My mom loved me. I was never the kid into shoes. Totally my brother's department. I think in my entire childhood, the most they spent on a pair of shoes for me was like $45.

@@maysmith4906 .. apparently they are expensive ones that fall apart.. crystal said the foster kids wore them out in a couple months.. even skateboarders shoes last longer than that, and they are rough on shoes.. i guess people need to buy lower priced shoes for donating.. its not worth spending hundreds on something that kids are going to tear up on purpose. don't seem to be another explanation. lol. (lower priced don't mean crappy cheap things. there are lots of good shoes that are under 40 bucks_)

Aaron, come to Cincinnati, Ohio in the summer it is disgusting because of the humidity and heat - we are in a city of seven hills that keep the the terrible air quality from leaving the area. We are also ranked super high for bad allergies because of the terrain/topography.

The older u get the heat can really get u. The whole US is having problems with their air conditioners & fridge not cooling. The heels that Halie has is what my granddaughter wears to work in her law office.

It's amazing you guys are donating shoes again!! When I was in foster care I had a foster mother make me buy boots that were too big for me because she would only buy me the boots on sale for $9. She wouldn't spend more on me even though she had my winter clothing allotment check of $165. So I had boots that were way too big for me and kept falling off in the snow and giving me blisters so she could pocket the rest of the check. It was really messed up.

I was a foster mother for ten years, and I loved shoe shopping with my girls. I bought them shoes they loved all the time. Marshalls, Outlets, thrift shops. One of my teenagers got wonderful stylish boots she adored at a thrift shop. Shoes are so much fun.
Thank finally someone said it kids shouldn’t have to walk around with the cheapest shoes that are old and dirty if the parents can afford to it’s a true gift !!

My number one rule if your in my car seatbelt is on or we don’t move. Just when seatbelts we’re becoming mandatory My grandpa and I were trying to get in the habit of putting them on. One day we didn’t and we got in a car accident. I hit the windshield but was ok. He didn’t get hurt .
i never go back to shoe shopping but i started to have to because i am going into 7 grade and so i need shoes for cross country

Ok, I decided Max is my ALL TIME favorite!!! So, simple and not a care in the world about keeping up with the trends. I have 2 boys and my youngest is like Max and my oldest strives so hard to keep up like the others, worrying about creases and all that is irrelevant if you don't plan on reselling, but paying over $100 for kid shoes I want to see them getting used, scuffed, dirt stains, creases and all. Kids grow out of EVERYTHING fast anyway, so if i buy them I don't need my money on display (it can stay in my bank acct it looks better in there)!🙆🏾♀️ 🤣🤷🏾♀️ kids 🥴

If you have a loves truck stop near you. Go to it. They have these fans that you can plug into you cigarette lighter and usb plugs that you can mount in your van. They work great. Or any truck stop travel center will have them also.
