Referee needed to caution Elias about his backward obstructing movement, which Farag regularly pointed out...

I never quite understand how the refs have thousands of hours of experience but cant see the most basic blocks. Some of them are a bit slow mentally I think, time for retirement.

Heat of the moment everyone gets things wrong - and squash has many grey(ish) areas where no matter what you decide someone will criticise you for it. Looks black and white to all the idiots on the sidelines though of course

Elias's miss when he was 10-8 up in the 2nd was the turning point. If it's 2 games each, Farag just has the mental and physical resilience to get over the line. Stunning squash by these two. Can't wait to see them at the Olympics.

it only became clear AFTER the final point, just how much Ali was suffering in the latter stages. Some of those rallies don't seem humanly possible, even for extremely fit players .... what must the leg muscles be going through ... UGH!!!! Not many players could endure through that level of cramp I'm sure, but Ali is a beast both in mind and body.

Pity that Elias doesn't have the physicals for such 5-game matches, it's almost always that he loses these matches because he cannot keep up the incredible squash that he can play.

the editing on this video was lazy, uninspiring and bad. you didn't even show the squash tv intro. you skipped so many important highlights. you continued into the next point while still playing the audio of the prior. it was too short and feels like an amateur work. shame.

Right this was a fantastic match , one of the best for a while ,, now let’s talk again about The horror that is Asal ,,, I watch him probably more closely than most as I know all his horrendous cheating tactics , all of them ! When in Egyptwith his Team family etc he is at his worst , when with Jimbo he has to call it down so as not to tarnish Jimbos reputation too much but believe me ,,, ask every player that steps on court with this great lump of subtle yet calculated cheating ,,, blocks , leaves his leg out , gets too physical then puts on his pathetic little boy lost face ! Fakes injury , time wastes , stops anyone rhythm I could go on and on ,, no one wants to play him , everyone wants him to lose except the Egyptian kids who think it’s cool to cheat , the squash tv team and the pro squash federation are all under pressure from sponsors to turn a blind eye , the man has changed squash and for the worse . Take a look at yourself Asal , yes incredible player ,,, but as a respectful respected honest guy ?

Unbelievable.. I’m so surprised and disgusted that this sport is recognized around the world as it should be. Seriously a lot of sports seem like child’s play in front of the agility, skill and stamina required to play squash.
