just discovered your vids on 'bama surf fishing. Great job showing the fantastic surf fishing on the gulf coast of Alabama and Florida. Keep posting , love to fish the shores. Tight lines. Cheers
Lived in South Alabama all my life never fished for pompano or did any shore fishing looks very interesting I'm have to come over to the gulf shores area & try it
nice to see you guys having a good day.....the water looked beautiful......its been another tough year here on the east coast of florida with the east winds keeping the water dirty.....
Awesome vid as always. Can't wait to get back down there. Where did you get your sand spikes? I want to upgrade from pvc and haven't seen those any where.
Brother....you're living my dream and great job on the video. I'm a native of the AL coast and misssss it. Currently in north Washington and headed home for spring break this year. Thanks for the taste of home! Pomp's are the Amber jacks of the beach surf.
Ok, now you've done it. My wife already says I got enough fishing equipment but that's for bass, cats, and bream, now I got to buy more inshore equipment so you might have just set grounds for divorce, lol!
Wow ur killin me buddy thats great fishin with a nice big fatty drum👍id luv to come down for even a weekend and bum around on the beach to fish! We just got teased with warm weather but were back to cold and snow! Im just biting my nails to get out in my boat and start jiggin walleyes
Yeah I always let the big black and red drum go. We can keep over slots in AL but I release them. When take others I advise they release them too but as long as the fish is legal I leave the decision up to them.
Roll damn tide to that guy
Good stuff man

Bummer man. It’s been tough for us this year up until a few weeks ago. The winter fishing here was rough.
yeah........we need to find pompano heaven......12 months of pompano!...haha
What beach were you fishing at didn't look familiar. Public? Went last weekend by Alabama point and didn't get a bite. Would like to try another area
It’s one of the public accesses around Ft Mogan
Do you know of a map or something that shows or tells me where the public. Watches are?
Hey wondering what your charge? Can we catch on fall ?
Hello! Check out my website www.staybummy.com
You're giving me Pompano fever! They're a rare catch here in SC but I'm gonna have to give it a try.
Pomps are for sure a treat we have here!
if i buy the penn fierce 2 combo to startout on, what length rod what action and what size reel do you recommend? love the channel bro
Depends on what you want to use it for. But for throwing out bottom rigs like pompano rigs I’d go with a 5000 on at least a 8’ rod. 9’ if possible.
Awesome vid as always. Can't wait to get back down there.

I had a guy make them for me out of Pensacola.
Another awesome video bro! What software do you edit your videos with?
Thank you! I use Windows Moviemaker

Lol it is awesome having the opportunity to fish this area!
Awesome black drum, awesome day, awesome fishing and awesome video brother, pure awesomeness
Thanks dude! It was a great day’
What setup are you using on rods? I noticed weight/sinker was towards top instead of bottom on pompano rig. You use sinker slides?
It was on the top just because it got tangled, I use pompano rigs that I tie myself
How much do you charge?
Nice vid. Where did you get your cart? I'm looking for one.
I got mine at J&M Tackle in Orange Beach. Probably some cheaper options if you are frugal and don’t mind shopping
Awesome video as always! coming down to PK in May...counting the days! Stayin Bummy up in TN!
Thank you! I hope you have a great trip!
awesome video man lol surf fishing is so addictive especially wen u pull out a big fish like that from the surf
It is addictive!

Yeah we usually release the big ones. The smaller ones are good to eat but those big ones deserve to go back
Nice Drum, I need to travel east and come try for pompano
For sure man! They have been pretty good. Caught some more today
Bama Beach Bum coming down to ft Morgan in a few weeks to chase pomps after I get done w trout up here in Michigan
Luke Larsen should be a good time for them!
Nice catches! That black drum was a monster! Congratulations! 👍
It was a beast for sure!
If you want to fish between this upcoming Monday to upcoming Wednesday or Thursday be sure to let me know. It'd be awesome to do a collab
I don’t think I’ll have any opportunities this week. But maybe we can work something out for the future
Sounds good, I'll be around plenty this summer.
How much does it cost for a guide trip
$125 for 2 hours 1 person. It’s an additional $25 per person and $25 per hour
More info on the circle hooks you're using please not the standard wide gaps found on store bought rig. Thanks!
I use a variety of circle hooks, I don't really stick to any one particular brand. I've had success with most of the ones I've purchased.
Excellent video!!!
Thank you!
Dang awesome trip... always nice to have some good fishing, take some meat home, and put a little money in your pocket! Good stuff as always
It was a lot of fun! Thanks man!
Nice big ugly glad you let him go those big ones are the breeders 🤙🏽
