Almost everyone has fallen for the trap, hook line and sinker. All this talk about DEI, roofs, her job at Pepsi - everyone has fallen for it, and no one is asking the right questions. The question should be - why is it so important to her that she stays in post right now? Congress wants her gone and she will definitely be gone after the election, so she clearly has no medium or long term future in the agency. So why is she still in post and hasn't resigned when all she is doing is ruining her own rep. If she'd resigned immediately, it would all be over. This is about distraction so that she can control whatever is going on for the critical few weeks after the event, and after that it won't matter. Nothing else makes sense.
