Imagine how good this storyline could be if Carl were still alive, having to explain to his son what he did. Every producer since Blackburn axed him has tried to replace or reference Carl.
There one soap cliche that Emmerdale, thank god, hasn't done: brought dead people back (not counting those few ghost apparences we've had) and I hope they'll never do it.
So Thomas King finds out that his late father Carl King had killed Tom King all along. I wonder how he'll react when - or if in actual words - he finds out that Carl had also caused the death of postman Paul Marsden back in 2004.
Matthew was definitely responsible for Donald De Souza’s death, leaving him to have a cardiac arrest instead of giving him his pills, only for Carl to spill the beans to his wife to be Anna De Souza on his wedding day (the day he got killed).
I’ll never understand why they killed off Carl and how he became the whooping boy who everyone managed to beat up. If they decided to bring him back and forget about his death I doubt many would care.
He couldn’t have known, it was over 2 years ago since it happened, and the brothers kept it to themselves. The only people then, and now who knew/know are Jimmy, Grace Barraclough, Matthew, Chas and Thomas.
Hopefully we'll meet Anya again one day. I don't think Carl killing Tom was a mistake. Well sure, it was manslaughter but I wouldn't call it a "mistake". Usually mistake's are something you can fix. Poor Belle, there will be heartbreak for her when she tells him about Gemma (but unlike Carl, she served her time).
Nice to hear a mention of old past characters and storylines from so long ago
And ever since Carl got bumped off, they've turned Jimmy into a total buffoon.
Exactly! He was just as mean as the other Kings when he came into it!
@@JungianHeights sorry but I like this Jimmy
Sorry Adrian but I like this Jimmy better
He was already a buffoon before then - starting when Matthew died!
@@westminsterwatcher5152 lmao he was XD
he accidentally killed Paul too
@@Sam_Brunt tbh i haven't watch the full episode of that
@@Sam_Brunt ok mate
Poor Tom

Yeah ik😂
@@K-sv1io Cameron, Declan, Lachlan, Joe Tate to name just four. All had aspects of Carl’s personality
Carl wasn’t axed, he wanted to leave.
@@Sam_Brunt He was axed, Tom Lister admitted he was surprised when he found he’d be killed off. He said as much on the aftermath show.
@@callumbarrington898 oh alright. They shouldn’t have axed him then, I don’t think.
They need to bring Carl back. I don’t care how ridiculous the storyline. I’m here for it!

Carl didn't rape Chas. She hit him off her.
Abbie Rose Holden, I dont think Tom cares if Chas got raped or not and I dont either , I love that he hates her
@@jaredporikos2197 well hate the person or not your own Dad trying to rape someone is very awful

yap i said he accidentally killed Paul
And sort of responsible for killing Grace Baraclough
Think it was Matt who did in grace hope they mention Lexi and eve and that
There was a hint that Matthew had Grace killed to save his brother's neck from prison for killing their father.

It was so weird what they did to his character. The Kings were always a bit nasty, but they suddenly turned Carl into a creep who tried to SA Chas.
I kinda agree with that a bit because basically this is not even the same Thomas from 12 or 11 years ago and I hate that
Because characters we ain't seen for ages they change the actors. And that's ridiculous. Same in corrie street
Carl had to die bruddah I could lie
Carl was generally the softest king. Matthew and jimmy were so villainous initially. It all changed after Tom kings death
I don’t understand what’s changed in Tom. It’s like during the time he left he completely changed like bosses everyone around controls them etc
I honestly thought Tom already knew!

It was a mistake. Tom brought it on himself and Tom killed himself. Matthew should’ve been the one who went down for killing him.
Carl was soo hot he is sooo missed
Is all of toms family dead?
